- For the western white man, Africa has represented the geography to house the universe of his darkest myths. No continent has been so foreign to him. His relationship with it has been superficial and conflicting, rarely from the integration, equality and respect. Whether as tourists, aid workers, technicians or settlers, white in Africa, even today, inhabits islands that protect and separate him from a world that he does not understand.

How can you ever think about being independent in someone else's country. The audacity
I am shocked beyond belief at the rude comments persons here are splaying against persons of color. For goodness sakes, all of us are children of God Almighty. Everyone deserves the respect due them by virtue of their presence on Earth. The least we can do as a human race is to look beyond color and learn to respect the person (excuse me, "THE PERSON") beneath the skin! !
I find it highly ironic that Christian the architect builds houses out of mud and straw. It's a great idea and also flies in the face of the anti-African "mud hut" epithet.
That fact that the ANC South African govt allows this is mind-blowing!

When i saw the title, I was hoping for something else. lol
The Dutch or Boers, can always go to Holland, its still there the last time I looked.
I feel like this just tried to show the worst representation of Africa ...like the way they kept saying the men don't take care of their families and the portrayal of the women. ....I've never been so I could be wrong but it's just that you don't like the people of the land but want to still live on that land separate from them

These people are unreal. They act as if they have the right to just park and take whatever they want and call it theirs in someone else's land and then have the audacity to act as if they are victims. They should fit right in in Israel.

I never understood the concept of Europeans/Whites moving to non-white countries and complaining about the native inhabitants of those countries being there? It's like going to a Chinese restaurant and complaining about them serving Chinese food instead of the food YOU want them to serve.
I am confused, how can you have any claim to land that was never yours to begin with. and if you want to be separate from the indigenous population then you should seek to build an independent state in your country of origin.
if you want to establish your own country go take over an european land and do it there. How dare you go to africa and try to establish apartheid. are you serious?smh
Why are people in Africa, that have no desire to be one with the people there? Stay in your own land and the problem will be solved.

Do you think some black people in Germany/Netherlands/Holland,etc,etc can even try to take some land in any of these country.and say this is ours,and we want to be independent,they will be hung.The American Natives said it correctly,they are a people who don't ask.they just take.
As an educated black woman in South Africa, I couldn't watch anymore of the Orania idiocy.
