I played Celeste for a few years before I figured out it was meant to be a trans story. I think that's about when I started becoming a femboy and wanting to embrace my femininity and experiment with myself. I'm fairly sure I'm not trans because I enjoy being male, however I am genderfluid and I like using either he, she, or they pronouns. I'm not saying Celeste was my awakening but it certainly did help me look into myself and figure out what I want to present myself as, even if I'm still in the closet to my family.
I'm 5'11" I like saying I'm 5'11" because it means I'm not saying 6'0". I wish I was like 7 inches shorter, mostly just so I can lay in bed and the bath easier.
I hear there's a guy named Procrustes who can help you with that! Runs a water bed shop in Los Angeles. He could remove seven inches of you easy, you won't even miss the extra height! Eventually, she started calling me by what would be new name. She... kinda knew that I was trans before I did lol
I just realised that this friday will be the one year aniversary of when my egg cracked! And I'll be going into this next school year fully out, and I have only really come out to three people; my mom and my two best friends. My mom told my eldest sibling, my fellow middle child found out through context clues and accidentally told my little sister, my girlfriend found out through a dream, and came over to my house and loudly talked about me being trans with my eldest sibling, leading to my youngest sister finding out. My youngest sister is friends with the siblings of someone who used to be my friend, and she told him. He then used me being trans as a "counterargument" to somebody telling him that he's annoying (this is why we are no longer friends) which happened in a group chat with most of the people I know outside my family
Congratulations! I'm coming close to my first year as well, though I don't remember when exactly it was for me, just the rough time of year. And you're still in school, I'm so envious, I wish I had the self reflection to work it out so early. Wishing you the best.

When my egg finally cracked, it was a pretty quick acceptance. One night of anxiety/panic/crying, then I started pouring into fashion, makeup, and HRT research. But that was at 28 years old after YEARS of dedicated mental health learning, discovering and managing ADHD / Autism, developing proper critical thinking and focus, etc. I'd done everything I could, my egg cracking was the last piece of the puzzle, though it was like x8 the size of all the other pieces! But it fit perfectly. Also, turns out that one night really changed how I processed emotions, even before HRT. It's like in Inside Out, you have to let them flow, confront and express the negative emotions, FEEL them. Then... instead of bottling them, you can move beyond them and tackle the actual problem. Its wonderful.

I decided to tell them about a month before my birthday, since I didn't want them to put my deadname on the card they'd give me. After taking a few minutes to process it, they accepted me and gave me big hugs!! Then my grandma showed me her quilting supplies, and we designed a trans quilt together!! Then my grandpa took me over to their calendar, and I watched him white out my deadname on my birthday and write in my new name!! Then when they gave me a birthday card, it had my new name on it!! And, as the cherry on top... that Christmas, my first Christmas getting to live as a woman, my grandma gave each of her granddaughters a necklace... including me!! 🥹 I'm so happy to have them in my life!! No, but seriously, I can barely remember anything pre transition. My working theory is that it left me so depressed that I has long hit a point of "nothing matters" but now every day I am so happy that my most boring day matters more to me than my most eventful day pre transition.

Hey, idk if any of you folks need to hear it but things DO get better over time. Also, pro tip from a trans guy who couldn’t afford fancy vocal training: find some music you like and work on trying to match the pitch and tone. Start with kinda neutral stuff and work down or up to where you want to be at. It also helps with breath control and strengthening lungs which makes it easier on your body if you use a binder or shape wear often!

Hey, idk if any of you folks need to hear it but things DO get better over time. Also, pro tip from a trans guy who couldn’t afford fancy vocal training: find some music you like and work on trying to match the pitch and tone. Start with kinda neutral stuff and work down or up to where you want to be at. It also helps with breath control and strengthening lungs which makes it easier on your body if you use a binder or shape wear often!
