6:14 dang, that was actually helpful. I’ve been worried because at times I feel neutral and I’m like “maybe this means I’ll regret it, and what if I do”, then other times I feel so horrible, but I’m so scared of those neutral times.

I get that. Still figuring myself out, but most of the time I don't mind, rarely ever feel dysphoria and only when conciously thinking abt certain things. Other times I hate it how it is right now and most of the time I think about how it would be so much nicer to be 'the other' gender... it's really confusing but we'll get through this I'm sure

I feel like “neutral” isn’t the right word there. I don’t think you want to feel… like you’re putting up with your gender. Like you’re settling for it out of fear. Saying “you don’t want to be neutral” sounds like saying you have to care a lot about your gender. And I don’t think that’s a good thing either.

Damn, every time I see trans girls go on to become catgirls, irl anime girls, literal disney princesses-- I just have to sit myself down and go over my life choices that led me here. In like 20 years I'll be sporting a beer belly, a hairy butthole, those dumb sandals that middle-aged guys swear by, I'll host a podcast where I review beer brands, I'll start calling people younger than me "sport" and "son" and "bud"... I think for some people it’s just flipping a switch, you can just instantly change to using a different set of pronouns. I think some people are just naturally better at using new pronouns, I haven’t really used they/them pronouns much but if someone came out as trans I could just instantly switch I think, pretty cool imo

About the first one: I was in ""straight"" relationships for almost 15 years before realising I wasn't into cishet men. Well, I thought I was just into girls then.
Turns out I was trans and just too gay for a straight relationship.
Honestly it brought me more agony when for a while, after realising I'm a trans guy, I thought "oh god do I have to start calling myself straight now", because for all those 15 years I had identified myself as not straight.
Being in a gay relationship has felt such a relief, really, because for the first time in my life the world can see the same that I have known since I was a teenager, that I am queer.
