  • I am playing in the key C major/ a minor explaining how the 3 modes
Locrian/Ioninan/Aoelian are all right next to each other also demonstrating how the note you are playing may be in the correct key but doesn't sound as good because it's not in the major/minor key.
C major/ a minor have no sharps or flats
A/B/C/D/E/F/G are the notes in the scale.
not the best video but if you listen to what I'm explaining you'll get it sooner or later. Thank you for watching please subscribe
I do realize this is basic stuff but it's really good to understand it, the next video I do might be about major versus minor tonality. It is a must that you understand the difference between the two.
    sorry for sloppy video.
Keep playing in different keys its very important.
The purpose of this video was to show you how the modes are linked together, hopefully it helps you guys out .Ask any questions you have.

This video didn’t turn out that good IMO. I may redo it but it’s all facts and there is no rules about modes or music so record yourself and see how you sound . My ears are kind of messed so I try to play at lower volumes.

@@SK43853 I'm actually really focused on rythm as guitar player, that's my main thing and that's what I want to master first, but I also love lead playing, and I want to be able to solo and improvise and shred the way you show it.

I try to put information out that musicians of all levels can understand. There are still some things I even have questions about. Thank you for the compliment @thesabbath483

@FN FN sorry I didnt mean to delete your comment I was trying to edit mine, you really have to know the pentatonic scales and other things like open chords etc, before you dive into the modes because they can be confusing. but all of the other lessons talk about all of that stuff.
