me too... Hybrid.. don't like it too much hybrids. But is the company car.. 1st non european car they gave me. Let's see how will perform. i make 40.000km/year and looks that long trips around 700km consume a lot... at 140km/h -- 9L/100 to 11L/100.

Traded in my 2018 Tucson for a 2019 SE, just traded that 2019 in for a 2023 SEL. Impressive improvements, larger, quieter, better handling, more power and all the bells and whistles one could want. Fascinating to watch my Hyundai model being assembled. Total quality at every assembly step. Good to know. Thanks.
They really came a long way. You can’t argue on that. I am opening my eye to own one. Very good quality work for a fair price. I don’t look at German cars anymore! They don’t do it to me like they use to. Good job, H.

@@tossmonkey1 Out of millions of cars, you will have some who's engine tolerances are off which leads to oil consumption. It does happened to all car companies. Overall, they are reliable for many miles.

@@alp3781 they have come a long way agree with you there but just to put it in perspective Hyundai have 2.4 million vehicles affected by engine failures on the Theta II, Nu GDI, and Gamma GDI engines, that’s unacceptable!
6/2023. I just bought my third Hyundai in three years. I had a 2020 Tucson--loved it! But I was offered a deal of 100%+ trade in allowance so I decided to downsize to a 2021 Venue Denim. Really liked that little sport car, but missed the size of the Tucson. After looking at all the others--Buick, GMC, Audi, BMW, etc. the 2023 Tucson SEL stood out to me as the Best Buy. And boy! Oh boy! Do I love all the bells and whistles! The instrumentation on the Dashboard is straight out of Star Trek, in my model!

I remember when I was a kid, people used to call Hyundai, High N Dry. Their cars were terrible and unreliable. Today, they are the third largest automaker by volume (behind Toyota and VW). Toyota always said the one car company they were worried about was Hyundai. Now I know why.

My 2008 Hyundai Tucson has 130k miles, the 2.0L i4 engine purrs like a kitten and gets upper 20's MPG city driving per tank (US). Not a bad vehicle.

I hope they are doing better than my 2016 they could never make the transmission work with program changes or mechanical parts. Finally had to buy it back as they had it more time then I did. Often wondered if they just sold it to some unsuspecting person.🤔

I bought a 2016 in 2020 that came from there. It had been a buyback but supposedly had the updated done for the transmission. Initially I didn't realize it was the DCT so it was kinda odd to drive, but now that I'm familiar with it, it's been a good car.

I bought mine in Casablanca Morocco in the end of mars 2022. It's a very beautiful car but i had a little mechanic issue : a relatively strong sound in the engine when i make a 90° turn at low speed, they couldn't find what's the origin of this sound. So I'm driving it hoping nothing bad will happen because of that sound until the end of the 5 years warranty. It's Mama Africa.
Could someone who owns or build this model around the world tell me what's that if he experienced the same issue or fixed it. Thanks

I own 2021 Elantra limited and 2023 Tucson limited. The one thing that I really don’t like is the door panel sometimes it not tight have to close it harder.

just one correction, at the beggining in Hyundai Steel service center, coils used are mainly Galvannealed (GA), instead of Galvanized (GI) used generally by the European car makers. Difference Is additional process step of annealing of zinc coating. Both systems Have of course some positives and negatives.

Looks like they have an outstanding work crew. Now i know why the Hyundai Tucson's are much better built car than the union employee built GM vehicles. Its all about the workers that build the vehicle. If you want a class A vehicle look no furher than Hyundai or a Toyota.
