    Thank you for this great video and analysis!!
    Could you please mention advice or two for FN who are short, and have long torso?
    It's hard for us because everyone only talks about FN who have significant height and long legs...

    • @silkymochi
      @silkymochi  Před rokem +11

      Thank you 🖤
      And if you're a FN w/a long torso but not long legs, I would recommend maybe not the flare pants or mermaid silhouettes I mentioned (of course wear what you want!) but flares & anything that flares out emphasize a short height (speaking from experience lol) and instead I would focus on straight pant silhouettes, tapered pants, and/or skirts that are long w/a slit or mini skirts which all work beautifully on those with a shorter stature or short legs. As for the the tops- I think everything I mentioned in my video still applies since most of my examples have long torsos like Cindy Crawford, Brooke Shields, & Angelina Jolie!

      Julia Roberts is a verified FN with a long torso. You should check out her looks from the 90s. She's tall, but I don't think it matters as much since it's more about the proportioning. No matter what you should have a long vertical as an FN whether tall or not. I feel you on the long torso though--feels rough Lol

    Great job friend! As a flamboyant natural I so agree and love all of the examples! Slightly big overalls, mini skirts, leg slits. Basically yes, naturals look good in flowy and volume, but the key is to make sure there are cut outs or open back that still shows off the long lines and slender frame. If its all boxy we will just look like a brick haha.

      Thank you my friend 🖤 I'm so glad you liked the muses i chose and all the outfit examples! Exactly, all about that silhouette balance 🤌🏼

    I also have had broad shoulders my entire life with a flat flat chest sadly, but I have really learned to love the Kibbe system as well. The idea of harmony and balance is so much better than the whole inverted triangle hide your shoulders thing. Kibbe/Kichner/Harriet Tilden McJimsey's system makes more sense to me because no matter what these shoulders will be obvious to others lol so instead of fighting it, embracing it really does make me feel like my outfits make more sense and look better. In a way, it's like you have to let your shoulders breathe and trying to restrict them is almost like restricting your own energy. Also my Cap rising/Venus, Scorpio MC, and Aqua Sun love a severe look lmao

    As a Flamboyant Natural who loves wearing small dresses and skirts I think why Jane Burkins small dress works so well in this Photo is because she is wearing a really chunky, artistic necklace and the wicker basket. :)

    I didn't know j Lawrence is Leo sagittarius combo. I'm also Leo with sag (moon). J. Lawrence is the reason I identified as a flamboyant natural. I saw her in an oversize sweater and long skirt and thought yes!!! That's me! She has great outfits. Thanks for the video. Very cool 😎 😊👍👍

    Unless I’ve mistyped myself, I believe I’m a FN. At 48, I’ve already been thru SO many fashion trend cycles in my lifetime, and maybe now, maybe forever, I’ve settled on a daily “uniform” that makes me feel effortlessly put together.
    I wear a wifebeater + tennis skirt, and pair it with literally any shoe style that I own. I was surprised that last winter, I didn’t have to wear pants even ONCE! 😳 I live in SoCal, and I wasn’t out too late at night, but there were evenings where the temp was in the low-50s, and all I did was add armwarmers, a hoodie worn either as a cape or w/ my arms in sleeves, but open in the front, and on the bottom, knee high boots. My body runs warm (not sure if that’s a FN trait), so I enjoyed being able to vent the heat my body generated from walking briskly. As long as I wasn’t stationary for long periods, wearing a mini w/ knee-hi boots kept me warm and balanced, temp-wise. 👌
    Another bonus is that this is my “everything outfit.” I wear it for sleep, lounging, exercising, shopping, etc. it’s so comfy, yet I never feel sloppy. I have an affinity for the Gamine aesthetic, and I find that I look best in things that are neither too tight nor too loose-just some ease in the fit on top, and the bottom can be jeggings, as long as they have a bit of ease. I like bootcut or flare jeans, though since I’ve lost some bloat weight, I can wear more silhouettes & colors (I’m all tummy when I put on weight), so my bottoms don’t have to be as loose, and I can wear white tops again! 😆

    • @silkymochi
      @silkymochi  Před rokem +3

      I absolutely love that you have a "uniform" because that means you have what we all aim for which is a signature look! Also body running warm isn't really a FN trait lol or I don't think so at least? But I find so much inspiration in anyone that has found their aesthetic, their outfit formula because constantly following trends doesn't have longevity

      @@silkymochi I’m so glad I don’t have to keep shopping for new clothes, or throw out/donate clothes that no longer suit me-I guess that’s the advantage of being older. Currently, I’m seeing stuff I used to wear in high school & early-20s. That’s when you know you’ve been around for a while! 😆 But the fashion industry as a whole is also risk-averse, and would rather do a reboot than take a chance on new styles (other industries, as well…film, TV, music, etc.), so there’s that.
      It’s also an amazing time-saver! I also consider myself a foodie, and because I’ve “tasted the world” at this point, I no longer have cravings or yearnings for any particular cuisine-nothing tastes revelatory anymore, so I just eat what works for my body (for the most part…I’m still working on optimizing a diet that harmonizes w/ my biology). I don’t really sweat the meal-planning anymore, and everyday meals are pretty much always simple & basic but still delicious.
      Not having to worry about what to wear or what to eat opens up my time & energy to do NEW things, and minimizes the mundane. 👌
      I guess the warm body is attributable to other qualities & constitutions. I do have fire in my chart (Aries moon, & multiple Sag placements), so maybe that combined w/ warming foods (like onions & garlic) ramp up the warmth. My sister & I have multiple oppositions in our respective charts, and she tends to run cold. We typically dress like we’re in different climates, so if you see us side-by-side, you’d have no clue what the temperature was. 😆

    I love that you combined the body type with astrological influence, how fun! I keep going back and forth on whether I'm FN or Dramatic, but this was so interesting to consider as sort of a "style essence" approach within your body type!

    This video was super helpful. I’ve watched so many Kibbe videos and I often second guess that I’m a FN. Your examples in this really cleared that up for me. Just based on styles I’ve worn in the past and what I always got compliments on. Love the astrology aspect too 🖤

    Thank you thank you sm! your analysis are amazing. I tried to research for my own kibbe body type (SG) but it's a lot of work, and also I really wanna hear your opinion hehe
    And even tho I'm not a FN your kibbe videos are always really enjoyable to watch and hear. Excited for the final two

    I'm always torn between FN and SN because I do have a slightly leggy long vertical plus I have alot softness

    • @silkymochi
      @silkymochi  Před 6 měsíci +3

      I think you can still be a FN even with softness! I think of Mariah Carey, and your vertical is a huge component that SN doesnt have
