Oh man! I got back from my first trip to Seoul and Busan a few weeks ago and miss it already! Everything was amazing but especially the food. I loved walking the streets and using my nose to find a restaurant. I tell people they haven't lived until they try korean BBQ. All the places we tried took pity on us tourists and helped us cook but I'm confident I can do it now. 😊 People were so warm and friendly. Korea has filled my heart and I'm forever changed. Making your recipes will keep me and my family happy until we can go back. ❤

I’ve tried this place as it’s near my house - personally the best kbbq I’ve ever had. The way they dry age and grill the pork makes it almost like steak and relatively less oily than other places!
This place looks amazing! We just recently got a couple new Korean places where I live. We now have a KPot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot and we also now have a Chung Chun Rice Corn Dog. I'm excited about these knew places but we've had excellent Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Thai and non-specific "Asian" places for a long time. Funny how industry and universities can bring lots of great food to a city.
This is perfect… we are booking a trip to Korea next year!

I have those exact chopsticks, well a lot of them, but I eat everything with them. I have hard time using forks due to arthritis but found metal chopsticks the easiest to use to eat. I made some Korean beef BBQ the other day with kimchi, rice and my son made some kimchi pancakes. Yummy dinner. This looks good minus the fish stuff

I'm always amazed how ppl eat kbbq in a white tshirt! 😅
Everything looks so good. I need some advice though. I have never been an eater of large quantities of meat fat. Most of the beef and pork I consume is on the lean side. If I need the extra flavor from fat I will remove it after cooking or cut it off while eating. What is the best way for someone like me to enjoy this wonderful Korean BBQ? Thanks so much. Making cucumber kimchi this weekend. Yum.😁
If you’re worried about the fat, you should definitely go for pork shoulder, not pork belly! Can’t wait for you to try cucumber kimchi! 😁

One of my favourite thing about having Korean BBQ in korea itself are the thick cuts of pork belly. Having Korean BBQ overseas you just don't get same juicy thick cuts. :(

Hey from America Aaron and Claire! Aside from here, where do you recommend checking out? My wife and I are going to Korea next month. She was born in Korea but hasn't been back in about 12 years. We'll be staying in the Incheon area!
Incheon has some good places to eat (but i would suggest to stay in Seoul) you will be mainly in the taxi/train/bus/rental car as most stuff is away from Incheon.

@vinnyc7738 That’s exciting! 😆It can be too hot to be outside but traditional markets (such as namdaemun or gwangjang market) are definitely worth to visit. A few years ago, we made quite a lot of videos about where to visit when you are in Seoul, so please make sure to check them as well. Hope you have a safe trip and make good memories in Seoul! ❤️

Intersting in Korea pork in the most expensive/more prize meat. In America. pork is super cheap but beef is suepr expensive. Best meat at korean bbq here, it is always beef.
