She needed a business partner, not an investor. Company recently moved from a home address to an office address, so she might be making progress. She had 2 employees in 2021, which went back to 0 currently, so she might have made a mistake there. Currently 40k in red, with 16k in assets. Not a great success yet, but also not a nightmare either.

Depends. If the style and build quality are there, there's no reason for it not to succeed; assuming a healthy 100% margin (all the designers are at least that)
No, she's okay, she's a creative! Right before I had a meeting with one of those really creative types, for my own business or for an organisation that I was active in, years ago, someone else who I mentioned this to, someone who also had her own business and like me was doing very down to earth techy things, warned me in advance, and I'm glad that she did. Because if you don't know what creative types are like, it can really throw you.
It is worthy of an investment, the dragons this days don't like to take risks anymore. I thought Toucker had the right business to invest in her at a 50-50 partnership especially after commending her about the quality of the british made hand bags. Its sad he didn't see it that way. 😕

The reason they were nice was because she was honest and her product looks actually good. She didn't claim her business to be worth something outlandishly big (which I've seen in other episodes) and she had a humble attitude. She also reacted well to criticism.

This lady has dyspraxia - a brain injury caused by inflammation to her brain from a bout of chicken pox. I think she is amazing and brave for having this disability to contend with.

I had both a bag and shoes with eel skin on them and all of those little scales eventually lifted up and then looked cheap and trashy. It wasn't like it could be fixed unless you wanted to pay someone to glue down each and every one of those little scales which would be ridiculous and cost more than the original price of the bag. And I think she's asking way too much to start out. If a celebrity would eventually buy one, then she could jack up her prices.
I wouldn't recommend eel skin any day of the week.

She talked that fast I couldn't understand a word. She got off lightly even after agreeing it was too early for investment. That bag she was holding looked like a cheap birthday gift bag. Not a great design especially for the price point.

I have an eel skin purse. Fish skin is tougher than bovine leather & lasts for ever.
Fish skin is normally laminated OVER cowhide to make it stronger because eel skin is much thinner than cowhide. So it's a combination of BOTH.
A Chanel bag costs below 100£ and selling for 500£. She really needs to find new producers.

Does anybody have anything positive to say? I agree that her presentation style was unorthodox and her voice can make for difficult listening; however, the discredit she is receiving in the comments is disgusting. With a price point of 595 against a production cost of around 150, she is achieving what most “non-volume” businesses are trying to achieve. With only having sold two, there is obviously something going wrong, whether it be the market or her - most likely the latter, we still don’t fully know. If the price point is of concern, perhaps dropping it and seeing how many are sold at a lower price point will give an indication of why they aren’t selling.
They are selling though. On her website some of her stock items are sold out. If she's only making a few and they ARE quality, that's what the dragons saw, the fact there are few available will likely get her customers willing to go on a waiting list
