I hope this is not a sign that the guy playing the character Lari isn't trying to leave the show for good. That is something to think about as well. I guess time will tell. The guy playing the dad doesn't realize that he is pushing his son further away by trying to keep him from a guy he is in love with. This might not end well.
Look I'm not here for a fight. I'm a science/medical student myself. I've read a lot of the studies/reports. Whether sexuality is solely genetic is still inconclusive. I'm not denying that there are genetic factors behind it. In fact I too strongly believe in it. (As for myself I'm fairly certain that I am born gay.) However there are also studies suggesting there could be environmental factors. Personally I've encountered lesbian couples who became lesbian after traumatic experiences with male.
This is very drama, but running away from home is neither the answer. In anyway, Lari's father is his legal guardian if he is a homophobe unless Lari use the law to protect himself in some way.

I think you are misreading my statements. I can understand if you're not familiar with the medical terms. Environmental factors includes stress and physical and/or mental abuse. It is not my theory that there are genetic and environmental factors contributing towards a disease or disorder, it is simply how they are classified.
