Venereal Beach, I got sick walking down there when I lived-in the area, that was decades ago, can't imagine how bad it is now

@GavinNewsom When I lived in San Diego in the ‘50s-‘60s, pollution was a problem. I just moved back after 40 years and it’s not only a problem but it’s spread to Silver Strand, Coronado, and La Jolla, that were once pristine locations! These beaches are closed regularly, it’s so sad and breaks my heart to see it happening and NOTHING being done about it! You pass legislation for San Francisco yet parts of the state that used to draw HUGE crowds (and tax !
$$!) is being neglected.:( What’s it going to take to get your attention?!

there is no political will to fix the problem, it would cost way too much to fix it, way more than the tax revenue in IB, it might cost billions to address the issue, they'd rather let the ocean deal with the pollution, IB is a very small community

California will just be throwing away their money at a huge black hole because the source of all these problems is Tijuana, Mexico. They can’t really do much unless Mexico works with California, even though the federal government should be stepping in since this involves another country.
