As far as I know at this time, because of the spike in Covid cases in the US we can’t travel anywhere to Europe. I could be wrong, but that’s what I heard last. 😢😢 we’ll be able to again soon……I hope.

I'm so glad you are able to take vacations. People sometimes don't understand how refreshing it can be to have a break from work and a change of pace to do something fun! I haven't had a vacation since 2006 lol. Someday i hope to travel again. 😊

Casinha do Petisco’s cataplana is a world gem. 💯 % the best in Portugal
Shaun, it's good to see you out and about again. I just checked with the weather, and found that it's 62 right now in Faro. You also said you were experiencing summer weather. Is that because you actually were there between June and August, and are just now posting. After all, nowhere in Europe is anywhere near the tropics. Since she's Brazilian, and you were there for some time, Portugal seems like a natural place to head that's not a lot more expensive.

So glad travel restrictions are done for a bit. We are Scots that have retired to Costa Rica. Cant wait to get out and about. Going on 2 years but will be glad to get back to Scotland.

I went to Lisbon a few years back, didn’t like it. But went over to Madeira which was beautiful!
Portuguese is similar to Spanish but not the same, there are many differences!!

Glad your enjoying the town I live close to. Unfortunately Lockdowns mean't that the minute they were over Portugal, and especially the Algarve was FLOODED with visitors Excellent for the hardworking restaurant and Tourist establishments. but a bit of a nightmare for the locals..We haven't been able to move this summer. So you will have seen the beaches way over populated .. Not normal . Hopefully it will balance out next year..A good tip about bringing a sweater for the evenings. People forget that this coast is on the ATLANTIC... not the MED..Its more often than not.. Breezy.. Its why people love it.Never too hot..and cool nights mean you can sleep

I loved Portugal
Especially the Algarve. Great food superb nightlife and no hassle about having a joint outside the bars . Easy going people and good beaches. Little bit less warm than Spain on the beach
But still a lot hotter than the UK. Great fish restaurants. Cheap as chips drinks and just an excellent place to visit .
Totally agree Ian, a wee bit cooler at night but worth it in other ways. Cheap as chips 👍

Lovely. You actually inspired me to do a short video of our most recent trip but we only went from Virginia to West Virginia. Still we got out of the condo! I tried guessing at the name of the town you are visiting but no luck and I'd like to see where it is on a map. Please - show the name.

@@shaunvlog I live in Florida and the islands in the Florida Keys are a very beautiful and unique place to visit. Ive traveled around the US a bit and national parks like Arches and Yosemite are awesome as well. Nashville is my favorite city. Love your videos! Stay adventurous my friend.

Because of the size of the US, visit by region. It's just so than you wouldn't spend the majority of the time while you're here in the US. (Unless if it's California, and Texas because they're so big by their lonesome.)

I'm still trying to get to Scotland! Jesus Christ on a piece of toast! The rules to get into Scotland are ridiculous. Even fully vaccinated people can't get a tour scheduled until next year.
