I'm still shocked that this series started off as a simple point-and-click horror game and turned into a massive franchise with multiple sequels, novels and now a theatrical movie! Well done, Scott. You've actually really inspired me.
And a game made on spite with the creator planning for it to be his final game before he gave up on his dream
Scott reading this comment then hits the gritty out of joy
Not only that but it was after a negative feedback he got from his previous game equating the models as lifeless animatronics. Well Scott took that criticism to heart and made one the most successful indie horror series in recent time.
Just goes to show that you shouldn't give up after a few bad remarks. Keep going and growing and you'll achieve success eventually.
This had been a wild journey!
Resident evil did the same thing man XD
I watched the movie an hour ago and let me tell you, it was phenomenal. A certain scene made my jaw dropped, I couldn’t believe they did that in PG-13. Absolutely incredible film, the Easter eggs and cameos made me scream. Amazing theatre experience!

@@GreninjaGamer25bruh.
@@breebs that was listed as a part of an officially posted content warning, it’s not a spoiler
@GreninjaGamer25 thanks for bringing this to my attention. My mother was gonna take me to the movie but I don't think she will be very well able to handle a scene like that. I already thought she wouldn't like the movie (even though I want to go and I want to enjoy it with her) so it's good to have note of a solid detail to warn her about if she insists... I don't wanna have guilt over dragging her to the movie, especially without her being properly warned of what sort of thing she's getting into. xD
I saw it. It was made for the fans. Everybody, people who I never knew, was happy, everyone was shocked and stunned when certain things happened.
It was not a kids film, it was bloody and gorey and fantastic. We were screaming and chanting and clapping and singing, especially at the end.
You bet everyone was screaming "HE SAID THE THING" and "OH MY GOD ITS HIM" and "YEEESSS" it was very nostalgic, felt like FNAF 1 again.
Bloody and gory? Did we watch the same film?
@@Cian-A-Jonesdid u miss the part where they show the cut up bodies on the floor and Michael getting absolutely cheffed by the animatronics or bonnie killing the guy in the cupboard or Mr Cupcake eating that guys face off or the women getting bit in half

They did an amazing job. Some people that have not played the games are not liking the plot, but as a fan I'm so happy they managed to pack so much in while making it make sense (or at least as much sense as it could). It has some theory fodder specific for the movie, and I find that great. This is very much separate from the game lore and that is GREAT.
Sure as someone who's familiar with fnaf it might make sense, but for non fnaf fans the story is all over the place. I can think of so many ways in which the writing could have been streamlined but instead they went with this. It's not a bad movie, but it's also not good. This comes from a fnaf fan, but also someone who loves movies and enjoys good writing.
@@DodgerFloofit’s kind of like the games in that regard. Though it is a double edged sword. I’d say it is a good movie, just not great as a film. Still solid purely from the fnaf fan standpoint though
I saw the movie 2 days ago (Oct. 26th) and as a huge fan of the series, it was an absolute pleasure to experience. All the references to the franchise, all the different CZcamsr appearances, the story, the actors, and of course the animatronics. Everything about the movie just fired on all cylinders and I can definitely say the 8 year wait was worth it

The fact Dawko’s eyes are watery afterwards is mildly concerning…
Freddy is holding him at gun point.
Some of the people said they felt like crying so probably an emotional scene, not that it was bad or anything.
Why would it be? He probably cried because it caught him off guard
I mean he’s been waiting for this for years it’s probably a mixture of sadness from emotional parts of the movie and also happy tears from the movie finally happening.
Yo creo que en los créditos estará la fnaf 1song de The living tomsome y le dio nostalgia
I'm not long back from seeing it tonight, and I feel exactly the same. Emotional af. It was a totally surreal experience, in all the best ways. I've never met anyone IRL who even likes FNAF, letalone loves it like I do, so to be in a space with so many other people who also feel like me made me a bit teary-eyed. It was awesome. And my main takeaway is that the film crew ABSOLUTELY did the fans justice. You can tell it was made with passion. Amazing experience that I'm so happy to be a part of and share with you all

I just came back from the movie and I will say this. It was not the most amazing movie in the world but I think it was perfect for this franchise. The right amount of spookines and comedy. And what made it the greatest movie experience of my life was the people. You could 100% tell that everybody on the audience was a huge fan of fnaf.

Hearing that everyone loved it is so good to hear, I will watch it with zero fears of doing something wrong or lame.
Just got home from the movie, and let me tell you I've never seen an audience react in such a loud and animated way, not even when we watched movies like Infinity War, Sonic, or even No Way Home.
When the movie ended the atmosphere was inviting and happy, we even had a friendly chat with some strangers in the row ahead, and even excitedly greeted some cosplaying fans on the way in for the next running. A great movie that surpassed my expectations and was well worth the wait!
Just got home after watching it too. It’s been years since I was part of an audience reacting so loudly and sharing so much references and theories. There was so much excitement and joy. Today was premiere day where I live and I don’t think I would have had that had I gone a few days later with non fans just curious about it in the audience. Glad I went as soon as I could to have this theater going experience.

I'm sorry but your opinion that it's "not horror" is wrong, it's a form of horror. not all horror is supposed to be terrifying to the point of you screaming (despite the name horror). while horror is known for that, it should be known the many sub genres attached to horror so yes it's still a form of horror. the horror genre is merely an umbrella term. it's crazy how many people don't know this. either that or they're ignorant..

I was worried that the review embargo was an indication of a bad movie, but sounds like I don't need to be worried. Glad you liked it, Dawko.
It will be a good movie for the fans. The critics apparently didn’t like it, but this movie was made for the fans, not movie critics.
Fun fact stop looking at the review stop caring what Rotten trash tom has to say, just stop listen and looking a "reviewers". Critics as useless, they are sheep herders and we as the ppl cant stop being sheep. Be like some ppl and dont look or care about those terrible "critic sites" or listening to "YT reviewers". Dont be a sheep, be a Wolf.
You should be it was aweful
yeah you are right i havent watched it but its gonna be awe ful not awful
awe meaning respect if you look to the right you will see the correct spelling ☝️
The fact Razz is on the verge of tears after the movie is a great sign
he looked like he'd already cried tbh. fantastic sign for it I can't wait
dawko as well i'm excited asf for this friday
I cant believe its here after 8 years! Seeing it Saturday and Sunday! A full FNaF weekend for me!
the scene of hank and bonnie making out dragged on for a little too long, but otherwise it was perfect! bravo cawthon!
I am happy that you got to see it, I hope it will be as good as you said it was, but what do we FNAF fans have to worry about? Scott has met our expectations all these years, it won’t be disappointing ❤
I’m so glad you had fun. I’m watching the movie on Halloween, I’m very excited to see what it’ll be like. Great video, Dawko! Thank you so much for sharing this moment with us ❤
I’m watching on Halloween too! So excited and def gonna have to stay off socials until then 😭
Just seeing you and the masses of excited people makes me cry with joy.
I'm here since 2014 and can't believe we've made it this far!
my family are going through a rough part of their life and im scared and crying but you always make my day keep it up
4:53 the most excited ive ever heard someone say "we are going to the toilets"
I’ve never been one to be really hyped for movies, bar beyond the spiderverse, but this is my one exception. I already have my tickets and no matter how many critics and CZcamsr will most likely rip this movie of the ground and say it was made for money, it will always hold a special place in my heart. I cannot wait for this movie!
Watched the movie an hour ago, and honestly, I had so much fun, that's how to best describe it. People around me were so happy and just enjoying it, theorizing, one had a huge Freddy plush with him, I couldn't take it, it was amazing. Just all the people that I know grew up watching Markiplier play the game, watch the Game Theories, that had so much fun...perfect for the fanbase, right what we needed.
I'm so glad I watched the first showing in my local theater to catch it yesterday.
So many references, so much love and passion that went into making it, I truly am in love with this film and can't wait to see it again. I seriously hope they make a Universal Horror Nights maze based on it next year. 💜
Oh man I can’t wait for it it’s so nice to see one of the best FNAF CZcamsrs see it and grow with the games thank you Dawko
Let's just...live in the moment.
We've gone through so many years of production hell, not even knowing if the movie would ever come out.
But they did it.
*We* did it.
...we finally have it..

@@collinm.4652 But true
@@serenitythesiren5031 *We* did it……
@@collinm.4652 well if we hadn't been fans of the first game, it would've fallen into obscurity and never even considered for a movie.
So excited to go and see it tonight! Glad you had a good time at the screening!
just watched it and man yeah something about those opening credits made me smile and tear up like the "oh my god i get it" danny devito clip
Dawko jump scare 3:22

I went to see it last night and I liked it! It was good but my whole cinema experience was ruined by people joking through the whole thing and kicking the back of my chair 😅 Definitely can’t wait to see the other things they do with the movie
You could have turned around and punched that person, knocking them out.
@@stingertv1106good idea!
@@stingertv1106no honestly. You paid for your tickets to see a movie you’ve waiting for years just to have two dinklebergs ruining your experience
@@artagle_14 Look at it this way, you can go to the cinema and watch the movie whenever you want, you don't have a single chance to watch the movie.
@@stingertv1106 that doesn't mean people can be assholes
Just watched the movie today.. and I gotta say being a fnaf fan all the way back from 2016 it hit me my childhood brought to life I was so excited and thrilled and blasted with many emotions in the theatre obviously all of them good!!
