  • Everyone always says the most satisfying part of using the Royal Mold System is opening up the molds and pulling out the dice. So I sat down with a dozen full molds and recorded me opening each and every one, trimming the sprues and showing off the dice.
    No talking, no music, just pure mold sounds.
    So whether you're here for the tingles or the dice, welcome :)

    WOW! I can not stop watching! I like the different colored molds. The yellow mold with the green dice is still my favorite. 🤘🤘🤘

    Didn't know this channel is becoming an ASMR channel for dice fans. Very niche, but I dig it.
    JK! 😁 Really nice dice and colors. I am usually a fan of warm colors but the green ones got my attention. The quality of the dice molds is speaking for themselves. 👌

    Asdf I'm so sorry for myself for missing this kickstarter! But I'm excitedly looking forward to buying the molds later this year (fingers crossed!)

    How do you make your own dice like what materials do you use and what moulds. I am very interested in making my own.

      I’m not the video creator, but I would highly recommend checking out Rybonator here on youtube as a good starting point for dice making. He also has a Discord you can join that has a knowledgable and friendly community. Facebook has a good group called Dice Making Discoveries (as of the time I am making this comment they’re currently revamping their page and aren’t accepting new members or making new posts for a couple more weeks or so, so you won’t see them pop up in Facebook search). When they reopen the page they will be a huge trove of information you can sift through.

    That galaxy set is absolutely stunning. How do you manage an effect like that? Purple base, a bunch of blue/silver mica and some bigger chameleon colored flakes?

    • @kingsfell4859
      @kingsfell4859  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks! You're pretty close with your guess there... it was essentially transparent purple resin dye (So Strong from Smooth On), a little bit of blue/purple/green colorshift pigment by Didspade and pinch copper chameleon flakes (some supplier on AliExpress).

    Now how much sanding and polishing do you have to do using those molds

    • @kingsfell4859
      @kingsfell4859  Před 3 lety +1

      Not much at all! I will hit any edges that have flashing with some 1500 grit sandpaper, do a bit more touchup with some 3000 grit, then move to polishing compound on a dremel buffing wheel.

      Your work looks good so far! Best of luck my friend 😁
      These molds will be available to buy after the Kickstarter is done fulfilling, which hopefully will be around August of next year
