This is white belt gold. So great to see start-to-finish game plans tied together neatly like this.
Thanks! I'll probably make more game plans in the future. I've got tonnes of topics for game plans 🙂 For tournaments, rolling styles, body types, age even lol
Jordan I'm a white belt too. True, this is pure gold. Thanks so much.
Im a blue belt and ive had success with the fake guard pull take down against brown and blackbelts! Hands down my favorite takedown and learned it from your videos!
That is so awesome! Amazing man. Good work! What a sick name too 😅
It’s a good technique but you’re probably never going to land it on those same people again focus on techniques that work even if they know it’s coming
@@tjc9799 I have hit it on the same people multiple times :) If they don't have a grip on your lapel it's very hard to stop and hard differentiate from an actual guard pull.
@@JordanTeachesJiujitsu damn
@@JordanTeachesJiujitsu ur jiu jitsu is similar to my teachers who did you learn from? if u dont mind me asking
You said you want to be my internet Jiu Jitsu coach, thank you! I can not afford classes at the moment. I am a 49 year old white belt and I have had 6 to 8 classes then got injured and now I am doing physical therapy and I am ready to continue my Jiu Jitsu journey. If I had a Smarty2.0 and some mats, I could train a whole lot of this at home. I can not afford those either so I will stretch for now.
I had my first official fight as a white belt today! I got the takedown, got the mount but finished with the Ezekiel choke. This video still helped me a lot! Thank you 🙏🏻
I’m 50, a single stripe white belt, and in a month going to compete in my first tournament. I’ve learned all these techniques, but seeing you chain them together like this is such a HUGE HELP!
Also 50 & white. 1 month in. Debating whether to try a tournament. Love competition 😊
@@ProdigalSon1973 I had a lot of fun, I highly recommend it. I had to fight down a few age brackets though, but it was a smaller tournament. Going to try the IBJJF tournament in Atlanta in Feb. 2024.
Fellow white belt. I’m 32 and 6 months into BJJ with my first tournament tomorrow. So far my age bracket has 1 other guy but the next age under us has like 7. Even tho I wrestled at a high level I’m pretty nervous. First tournament in 13 ish years.
I'll be re-watching this a few times. Thanks Jordan! (REALLY liking the flowchart, into explaining each one, need more videos like this one.)
The videos are getting more and more polished as I learn what I'm doing lol. Definitely feel like I'm getting the hang of it now! Will definitely make more like this one 🙂🙏
Thanks Jordan for what you do. Appreciate it.
@@turkeyturkey3942 my pleasure 🙂
I have my first competition Nov 20th in SLC. What should I do the day before? Should I train at all? Just rest up? Food i should eat or shouldn't eat?
@@skuirrelTV I would rest and just eat the same way you normally do assuming it is relatively clean eating 🙂
White belt here planning to do my first comp after 8 months training, very valuable advice. Cheers!
4:50 the ref shaking his head as the white belts deliberate...lol
😅
I'm a white belt getting ready for my first tournament set for next month. This is so helpful!
Happy to help 👊
Online jiu-jitsu coach 💯% sharing with all my friends 👊🏽
🙏🙏🙏 Thanks man!
Awesome video Jordan!! So high quality as always. The most underrated BJJ channel on CZcams!!
Thanks man 👊 Hope you get lots of subscribers from the shout out!
Off topic, but has anyone told you you look like a jacked Jesse Eisenberg?
@@LibertyJefferson I usually get
that I look like Andy Samberg
@@KierenLefevre
I could definitely see that too.
I've dropped on your channel a couple of days ago and i can say a couple of things about it: 1- you're an incredible teacher! 2- your didactic and edits are on a whole another level than most bjj channels i've ever watched here on brazil by far.
Thank you for aiding the community! Hope i can be 1/10th of you as an athlete and as a person.
Very kind of you man 🙏 I really the kind words.
Great stuff!!
Great stuff Jordan, everything on point, keep it up!
Great stuff! Thanks for the guidance
Such valuable info Jordan! Thanks for the effort!
Love the video! 🤘🏼
Best coaches ever thank you guys! Can't wait to be back at it!
Thanks Jen! Me too. Need you there consistently again and killing it!
Great stuff! Thanks for taking the time. Will be drilling with this video daily leading up to next month tourney!
Fantastic as always, I don't understand how anyone could thumb this down.
Me neither lol. All my videos have thumbs downs which doesn't bother me, but perplexes me as to why?? Haha
That was awesome!! 2 greats, both of you are so sound technically. There is so much to learn in that roll for lower belts... thank you for spending so much time creating this content. It is much appreciated..podcast is also great!!
So helpful! Thank you!
Great video, thanks!
Great tips man, thanks!
Excellent content ! Well done
Great video, thank you
Great information thank you.
I’ve made a routine of watching your videos every night. This video was especially helpful because sometimes I struggle with determining my next move. I love how you made an outline to follow and flow through. Keep up the great work. OSS
👊🏿 Really appreciate your content.
Great video right before my competition this weekend.
Got my first tournament on Dec 17th and nervous af. I'm 38 been doing jiu-jitsu steady since March of this year. I appreciate this video dude. 👊🤙
How'd you do brother?
@@ConradCreel 3rd place . I was happy. Now I'm addicted , got another one the 25th and and March 18. Now entering as a 4 stripe white belt.
@Joe Hickman awesome man. Best of luck!
@@ConradCreel appreciate it dude 🤙
Thanks man! Third tournament coming up and taking a game plan this time! I had an idea of what i wanted to so before but having a plan with a few different routes will definitely make a difference 🤙💪
Quality tips, thanks Jordan. I like how many of the scenarios revert back to the original game plan once you find yourself back in the side control or mount position.
Awesome tips. Thank you 👍
Absolutely amazing. This is probably the most informative and real life use video on BJJ I have ever watched.
Haha thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it 🙏
This was absolutely fantastic
Thanks for this!
Awesome, will try this stradegy!
Dude, phenomenal video
Another great video, including with the tournament clips. Thanks, Jordan!
Glad you enjoyed! This one took forever to make haha. Glad people find it useful :)
This is fantastic, and I will be analyzing it with my daughter in prep for her first tournament. Thank you, Jordan! 👊🏽
Thank you!
Great video! I used these techniques im my last tournament. Didn’t always pulled them off but they gave me confidence that I had a plan to try!
This is perfect. I had a combatives instructor in the army that said the reason your doing something is just as important as what your doing, and he was right. And you follow suit and give a reason behind everything. Very enlightening. Makes me more aware of what I'm doing in a given situation and why I should or should not continue an action. 👊
Thanks man! Wise man he is!
Amazing vids mate
Holy cow…. There’s so much information in this video!
Thanks man. This one took forever to make but is jam packed with important info!
Best BJJ instructionals I've found, thanks Jordan you've become an important part of my grappling education!!
Man your videos are next level. Thank you
This is such a great video! I'm glad I ran into it. Thank you.
This is amazing. Thank you Jordan
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is huge for me. Thank you! I have my 3rd comp coming up at the end of the month. Finally, I "have a plan."
amazing video!!! More of those, please :)
Thank you so much for the video! I have my first competition as a white belt in 3 days and this helps so much to have a mental plan of attack.
What an awesome video!!
thank you!
Brilliant advice!!
Thank you!
This is really good, man! Details are solid and I will recommend this highly to anyone! 5/5!
Thank you
This is gold. Thank you very much for putting this together.
No problem 🙂 Thanks for watching! 👊
Great video again Jordan, love the details. Thanks for highlighting my clip! 🤙
Thanks for sending it to me and letting me use it. And great work hitting it at the tournament! 👊
The whole video is super insightful & I especially enjoyed the knees shield trick at a minute 2:19 is golden!👌 Can't wait to try it in my next roll 🤙
This was priceless! Thank you!!! 🙌🏽
Glad you enjoyed it!
amazing content as always. Stay on the grind. i keep sharing your videos to team mates at my gym.
Thank you so much for spreading the word 🙏🙂
This is great instruction not just for tournaments, but a fundamental game plan for learning to roll in context. This is where the internet has value over a class format. So often at schools you drill the "move of the day" or 2 and then go roll live. For beginners the vale of videos like this show you not just moves and combinations of moves, but how you should be organizing your training and focusing on mastering high percentage fundamentals. Thank you for content and excellent instruction. People like you are what make this community amazing.
The fake guard ankle pick was so effective at tonight's training. It worked on everyone without exception and I even got complimented on it. Thank you!
Great video! 👊
Thanks man 🙏 👊🤙
A really good video! Thank you for this content! I appreciate your videos!
I'm literally getting chills. I'm a white belt and I'm having my (technically) first tournament this weekend. I have the exact same game plan that I just kinda figured out and put together over the past couple of weeks before watching this video (though instead of the arm bar from mount I slide one arm across and grab it from behind their head and take the back) and this video just pops up into my recommended 2 days before my tournament... cool
Crazy! Good luck on the weekend!
@@JordanTeachesJiujitsu Thank you! 🥋👊
@@Kimura.Enjoyer, 👊
Did you win a few matches?
How did it go?
Thank you for this, Jordan!
Solid fundamental game plan! Thanks for taking the time to make these videos you two! Well said and shown
Thank you and our pleasure! We're just so happy people like them 😊

You have, by far, the best videos PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't stop, have them coming. I learn so much. You instruct it so well with great detail. Thank you SO MUCH for you time and effort.
Heaps love from Australia Perth, WA Gracie Barra.
Wish me luck I have 3 comps coming up May June and July. All blessing in the month of ramadhan, but I kept the training going.
P.s Kamora Videos been helping me ALOT and the prevent person not getting in your guard video.
Thanks again
I really appreciate you and this vid. I’m eyeing my first competition August 6.
Great video dude.
I've got a comp in a few weeks, and the main thing I dread is the stand up/take down stuff. Once its on the ground, I feel comfortable, so I'm defiantly going to be trying those takedowns you went over.
Great video, TY
Thanks Mitch 👊
My first tournament this weekend so time to memorise this video!
Just amazing, concise content. Thank you so much for your effort - can't imagine how many people you have helped with this!!
Thank you, I really appreciate it 👊 And I hope to help out even more!
Love this man, great video! I'll be watching all your videos from now on... I started Jiu Jitsu 2-3 months ago and I'm absolutely in love with the sport
BJJ is the best!! Glad you love it too :)
Bra, top shelf content! Got my first ever comp this Saturday. Loving the vid!!
Hey man - this format video is sick 👌🏼👊🏼
Thank you!
Love this video 👊🏻
Would be cool to see you compete one day! I think youd do really well.
@@JordanTeachesJiujitsu one day I will. It’s on the list of goals for sure.
What an awesome content 🔥🔥🔥 thanks coach ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻
Thanks man 👊
This video, like the others on your channel, is great. Your content is a great addition to my regular training and coaching. I appreciate it!!
Thanks Peter. That's really my goal, to be the ultimate compliment to everyone's in person training. Glad to hear I'm accomplishing it 🙂
Protect this man at all cost
I have my first tournament this Sunday so this video helps me a lot!!!
I'm glad! Good luck at your tournament. Let me know how it goes :)
@@JordanTeachesJiujitsu i won the first match with americana sub and i lost the 2nd match :( but it was a great experience!
@@gonzalopimentel6434 better than I did my first tournament. Lost my first 😩. Redeemed myself the next two tournaments with golds. First tournament is a great learning experience and you did great. Especially hitting a sub in your first one!
Sir just found your content a few weeks ago. Amazing content. I had a sub only match on the 24 and I saw you this video. Love the details. I pulled guard swept him and took his back. Finished with a bow and arrow choke. Implemented those details and finished him flawlessly. Thank you again. Let me know where I can send you the video. If you look under Rise of the Prospects in Tucson you will see my match. Thanks again I am looking forward to more of all your content
Very simple and clear explained. Thanks. I've learned a very important things.
