- Doing the impossible in Road Of The Dead by beating highway to hell (hard difficulty) In 1 run with zero upgrades and deaths and no aborts without dying.
Road Of The Dead is a first person driving game where you play as John Creasman who is a mechanic of Evans City and you must escape the quarantined city from the zombies while the military tries to stop you.
I'd like to point out that this run is a 1 in 100 because out of my 100's of attempts on trying to beat this I have never kept my bumper on stage 2/6 until tunnel drive and I've never kept my windshield until the Brighton Square military checkpoint and on top of that I managed to achieve the impossible by getting the shortest spawn for the tunnel and escaping with 14 milliseconds by the skin on my teeth. The max tunnel drive distance is about 49.69km and the shortest spawn is about 49.63.
Audio Issues: When I was editing this video and adding in johns voice lines I made everything perfect by having all of the lines at the same volume and it sounded good in the editor until I exported the video then it went from crystal clear to static earrape because it was slightly to loud or something so after a few days of trying to fix this issue I managed to make most of the audio lines as clear as I could but not all of the voice lines I added in are at the same audio level since I had to lower and raise some of the clips to make it work. Also some of the clips have that annoying static in the background and it was either that or having it super quiet so I just left it like that. There is also some background noise in some of the voice lines because john only says them during certain events so it's hard to get it just right so if you hear any thats why.

But also on the fact you hit no civilians or even solders. I dont know if that was intentional but i feel like its impressive
And the fact you got out of there with 0.17 seconds left is just icing off the cake. It feels like thoes times in action movies where the protagonist get out of the building right before it blows up.

I completely agree but it's a shame that the time he escaped before the bomb detonated was a millisecond. In real life he would have died immediately. He would have had a time of about 13 seconds maximum to escape from reach.
@@garikit5909 Well it's not like the nuke was dropped directly on him, it was most likely in the center of Evans City, so naturally it would take some time for blast wave to reach John, you can actually see that in RotD 2 ending

A gem of a game. You knew to avoid hitting anything as much as possible since without the armour the front will take damage when hit by anything. Also avoiding the gunfire as much as possible.

Lots of practice and learning from my mistakes. I learned its not best to always drive at top speeds with no upgrades because i end up crashing into something after a while and die alot quicker.

I want to know what happened to john creaseman when he's escaped from the town? Where did he's go? He's don't have home no more.
I've been trying to write a 3rd part to the story its just been hard with all of the other things im trying to do and get done. I've always imagined he found a small town nearby the city with some people that have encountered infected people that came by from the city on day 4 and heard about the virus infecting Evans city during the 5th day and eventually trust john and try to find a safer place to live when their current place becomes less safe as time goes by.

I played this in 2012 if I remember correctly and i know dis is now dead game (flash) but one thing I remember is that I tried this and the mission was unsuccessful, if you wonder how I remember those intense hours of playing, I just have to remember that pain HUGE HUGE RESPECT you deserve it a sub
yeah it was pretty painful for me as well especially when I made it to the final checkpoint and crashed twice and died right at the end. To answer your question yeah I did re animate the intro and end scene since I thought it would be cool to add on to it. Took about a month and a half to make the images and edit them in. The original intro is fully animated but I edited it to match the intro and end scene I made since fully animating it would've taken forever.

@@andrijalahos8505 Thanks. I heard that they were trying to make a 3rd part of the game where John and Allen Creasman meet up at the next town while looking for supplies then it shows what Diane, Cocheta and general Sherman and where they go once they escape the city in the helicopter.
@@andrijalahos8505 If you wish to play the game again go to newgrounds and search road of the dead and click download newgrounds player (the most recent one) and once its downloaded go back to newgorunds and click launch in newgorunds player and it should work. Once your in only full screen the game once your driving or else it will zoom in on the top left corner and you will have to re launch it again.

how did you get extremely good fps? all my no death runs have been ruined by severe fps drops, and this game isnt very well optimized. is your pc just really good, or is there some tricks to boost fps?
If my game ran slow on the newgrounds player id quit it and re launch it and put it in full screen while driving and it helped. I also played on low quality since on medium and high it would lag for a bit in some areas.

yeah those soilders have terrible aim. If your stopped or driving slow enough they will shoot you the whole time your in their sight until you pass them

@@LancelotChan Your safe from their bullets as long as your not in front of them because then the bullets will hit you. Also I think if your directly in front of them their bullets will do slightly more damage.
