Little known fact, having a kinetic holster on your boots is a great thing to run with hawkmoon. Stow it just long enough until you hear audio que then swap back, you get 1 to two shots back and still keep your stacks

5 Seconds with 1 / 4 seconds with 2 for stat monkeys like myself.
Just as a clarification, you still lose your stacks if you stow Hawkmoon while it's on the final shot. You have to stow it at 2 shots or above to keep your stacks.

Love this TV, with what little time ive had to play the new sandbox around my new job, hawkmoon has been my go to, feels so nice. This is almost the exact build ive been running. Ill try the lightweight knives but i love my weighted knife so much, and my stompees...

TV is really getting out ahead of many of the other CZcamsrs on understanding the meta. This is a very cool build, I will probably give this a shot
Not really, everyone understands the meta, he’s just playing this mode that has no SBMM to death because he hates SBMM and has to play it before it’s gone. He’s just using it along with the changes to make some extra CZcams money while he can.
Remember to use kinetic holster (whatever leg perk reloads ammo) with hawkmoon. Let’s say you only get 2 headshots and you somehow missed 5 shots: stow your weapon, get more ammo and more chances to get headshots without reloading and restarting your stacks. Then get more headshots, and 2 tap.
This is ridiculous in trials btw.
So did proxy grenades get nerfed? It seems like my GL is only hitting for 212 with proxy, which won't kill a 10 resil guardian.
@@otisdriftwood7094 GLs period won't one-shot anymore fyi. They're basically dead in the water now.
@@otisdriftwood7094 proxy did get nerfed, proxy nades sucks now in PvP. GL’s do 1-shot without proxy but you have to be slightly closer with your shots.
love this build! old foe tracer was one of my fav exotics and i love the rework they gave foetracer but im really glad they transferred the exotic perk of foe tracer to knucklehead instead of just trashing it, definitely needed the love

Dang, I always forget about Hawkmoon cause I love my Rose, Igneous, and Round Robin too much, but it SLAPS people up! Pairing it with Knucklehead also makes soooo much sense, can't wait to try it out! Love the out of the norm thinking here TV, thank you!

I like your last couple of videos very much, it seems like you have found some fun in Destiny after a rough patch. Well, I guess most of us have been in the same boat. xD
I use lightweight knives with cryothesia. Here's the gameplay loop:
- get a kill with cryosthesia
- activate its special reload to get a freeze shot
- freeze an opponent
- use your lightweight knife to kill frozen opponent (which kills no matter where on the body you land your knife as long as they are still frozen And of course you get your throwing knife back assuming you have the right aspect and fragment combo)
- Now you have radiance for your next sidearm kill to restart the loop all over again
Does comp have the new sandbox cause i still have my abilities all the time so im still running ability focused exotics
Just getting back into crucible, anyone got any recommendations on fragments to synergies with this build?

How many stacks do you need to clean up with the knife?
Last week I went flawless for the first time using Hawkmoon, sometimes swapping in DMT and knucklehead, I absolutely loved foetracter pre-merge and now I love knucklehead even more because it lets me swap off Ace
Used it in the first days, but im keeping to my wormhusk - and im also loving the adjudicator. Which, funny, feels nice with target lock. Onslaught aint bad but target lock is still pretty nice.
Sturm + Drang absolutely slaps in this sandbox
Need a video like this but for warlocks lol. As a warlock main I feel like I could always be doing more, better, or both.

I don’t remember if you can have gunpowder gamble to proc even without grenade energy. Bc if it does you’ll never worry about lack of grenade abilities if you got a solar primary: like summoner or drang.
They updated on Tuesday for it all to be in the new sandbox
I haven't used knucklehead in the current sandbox, but i mained it in the old, so i can only imagine its newfound potency.
I still use snipers but I judge how fast the game goes to see if I'll get sniper ammo back enough, if my judgement feels otherwise I switch to a sidearm or smg in that slot.
im glad someone actually talks about snipers. every single time bungie mentions snipers they nerf them.
Bungo literally was like "We are nerfing sniper rifles ability to hit long distance shots. I know that ks the whole point of them but it feels bad to get sniped..." You cant make this shit up...
I'm sure the pvp team has depression because they always get sniped or get cloudstriked
@@leeroy2752 there's literally no reason to use a sniper especially in the current sandbox, just a waste of special ammo that you may never get back
The issue with snipers is they have balanced them around the sweat crack head level of player. It makes them useless to mortals…
Haven't use foetracer yet. But I rock thorn and a solar build on warlock. And having the tick damage from the burns has saved me in so many situations. Haven't tried foe tracer hunter but if I get a good role I'll give it a spin. Gonna be a hard sell though because I like my lucky pants and speed loaders.
What sniper does VG use?
I started using knucklehead since a trailer dropped a hunter with it whilst using last word + void blades
I love how getting damaged to mark someone (disadvantage mitigation) was absolute heresy while just hovering over someone you're engaging and being able to track them behind cover (advantage amplification) is completely fine. I play mostly hunter but Bungie has a very holistic and esoteric way of balancing, like rolling dices and smoking their office chairs' stuffing and coming up with whatever makes them go "brooo"
Just like back when they nerfed behemoth's freeze on super cast because "freezing on super cast is too op" when the cast itself is as slow as molasses, while warlock freeze on rift cast is totally ok. Yeah, you have to be grounded, but you can use it very frequently because you're going to have T10 recovery anyway. Luckily it got reinstated but still, the nerf was stupid and getting it back is a proof of that.
The funny part about the changes is that in Qp now i end up playing the same way i used to but i now end up with like 5 shotgun shots so if I happen to flip the spawn and move fast enough i just get free 3/4 feeds with the shotgun😂😂.
I actually use special more than i did before in QP, for comp and trials tho I'd say the old one was better but they need to nerf snipers and fusions.

Try out Lunas howl or not forgotten. I was bored and took out not forgotten and it absolutely slaps. Magnificent howl and zen moment are great in current meta. Idk exact range numbers but it felt fine in most maps.
On it, I have been using Crimson and it hasn’t quite felt right on some maps.

Snipers fall off is partially due to the ammo economy, I mean there’s such a great chance of bodyshotting or missing and waiting rounds for ammo versus just aping with a shotty and confirming a kill. Sure the accuracy change fs hurt but ammo hurts for a precision weapon

Dusted off my Knucklehead last week, been using it with my 180 rpm scout with box breathing. Helps mitigate any negatives of being scoped for a while. Such insanely quick 3 taps across the map.
MIDA and Palindrome are doing wonders for me

Forsaken sandbox was the best. My unnerfed striker,unnerfed oem and unnerfed nf. I miss that shit.

I’m scared to bring more attention to this, but oversoul edict is still ridiculous. enhanced keep away and headseeker= no need to aim your bullets are magnets, also it gets high cal rounds, so it flinches super hard cause it’s a rapid fire frame. as a piece of mind enjoyer, it’s my new go to

The majority of 140s feel kinda weak in this sandbox but thankfully the exotic ones still feel good to play with
We lost 1.1m of range roughly so any HC below 70 range feels meh considering ammit which is the main gun atm has 33m with small bore which is the meta barrel.
Ace feels okay but it still gets flinched even with 3ple unflinching so ehhh..😂

I've been using knucklehead for months and I literally haven't used another exotic in pvp. People underestimate just how valuable the info knucklehead gives you truly is. Remember people...INFORMATION HELPS WIN WARS!

I love to snipe and I didn't at all in trials. It was hard to hit ahits and flinch seems even worse. Like if you don't hit the shot immediately then no chance. I just threw on conditional like everyone else ugh

I wish i could love Hawkmoon, but i am a really bad compulsive reloader. I get a kill or break off from a fight, and i cant help but reload, so id be wasting Hawkmoon's potential lol
Tbh I'd love to see bungie buff snipers a bit to compensate for the nerfs, alongside a very specific nerf that i think would make them feel a lot more fair to fight against than they currently have been.
See, I don't think they deserved that aim assist nerf recently.
I think what they should do is make them lose aim assist while being flinched. Not at all times. Heck, you could even buff their aim assist compared to before there.
That way, if you shoot first, you're going to have an easier time hitting the shot, but if you get shot first, your best bet is to disengage.
Edit: to be clear, the existing flinch nerf did not fix the issue of "i shot sniper = they headshot me anyways" because the aim assist is so strong that they can flinch back near your head and just destroy you anyways. By reducing the aim assist significantly when they're being flinched, you can even buff their aim assist while not being flinched and have them feel more fair than they have felt for a while now.

A 152 headshot damage source plus a single hand cannon bullet? This is just the bow-swap build but in reverse lol.
I believe that should resil-check 8 or lower (IIRC 9 will barely live because of rounding). But given how the body/precision changes made Resil produce fewer TTK shifts, I pretty much only see Titan still running 10, mostly for barricade timers.

Won't lie, i'm a sniper hater. In any game. I was never good with them, and i haaaaaaaaate matching with a competent user. With all that said though, this build looks super interesting and will be giving it a shot later tonight. Thanks TV!
In 6s, sniping causes matchmaking issues due to people quitting out in response to being dinged a few times. Then, after a few tries, matchmaking gives up on replenishing players.
