Because its cooler
Stability mate. Easier to three tap and a cleaner set of sights
Only drawback for ace is that it feels weird
id say thorns feels good with its high handling but overall Ace is always going to be the best hc in the game

This is the only weapon in Destiny 2 that never ever leave top 10 in every meta , it is so good

I really wish Bungie gave us a hunter exotic that allowed any hand cannon (excluding erianas vow) to be fan fired like crow did to the hawk moon in that cutscene a few days ago

i wish that lucky pants did that at base. not a buff to the hipfire or anything, just the hipfire animation is the fan fire

the mori nerf just murdered the gun for me especially on maps like these, you literally don't wanna proc it because the moment you do all that range disappears and you're back to thorn levels and now you gotta fight 100 range igneous
if you’re loosing 1v1s to iggy with mori active (ace has a faster ttk and basically the same optimal range) I think you just need to a.) get closer or b.) get more reps in with the gun

Mori Ace has like 32m range and even a mediocre Iggy has 39.
And no you cannot always make the push depending on map and objective placement, mori is in fact nerfing the gun when you proc it and you don't actively go for 2h1b with any HC regardless of buff.

My god roll palindrome also has high cal and 85 range and it is my most used weapon. Ace is great, but I miss that stability my palindrome has.
Wormhusk isn't OP at all. With all the crazy shit in this game saying wormhusk is an issue is actually faded as hell.

I've been looking for a new hand cannon for PVP after coming back from a break since beyond light. I used to rock this when it first dropped in pvp but it feels like it kicks too hard with the animation. Draws my eyeline off the target too often trying to reset aim. So I have been using a Rose which still kicks but still allows peripheral vision to track the player and sights. It's just not as powerful overall but feels more consistent.
Gotta like the gameplay bro. But, that synthwave music in the background was fire my guy. Plus, I’ll definitely have to try Ace of Spades again. It seems amazing!😃

I play on a roller and I still love ace even with the low stability. Once you have mori/ mori+radiant it feels like 140 rpm igneous

The ace was always great. Between it's exotic perk, stats, history and design it was always one of those exotics that you had to love.

120 hand cannons flinch hard but does having high caliber rounds make 120’s flinch that much more? Or is it a wasted perk?

Ace has always felt like an exotic with just the radar perk.
If I don't play Ace I always take the Knucklehead Radar.. So having a HC with already the perk on it feels pretty strong imo
Ace is amazing but the problem is since the changes to special ammo people are running double primaries more. Which is cool and all but now you’re competing with someone running a long range weapon like a scout or pulse paired with a sub/sidearm. So they keep the lanes and range away from you and your HC. If you can get within range ace COOKS!
If they lessened the recoil for controller a little i would use this more

I reached my goal of 1000 kills on ace in PVP right before the range nerf on momento rounds I haven't used it since but after this video I'm giving it a shot again

I have EP on mine but was going for EOS because EP nerfs range I heard now. Is the flinch that bad ? I fry with it but I’m not sure if EP helps or hurts

Time your shots out loud then commit it to memory
It is a bit of a learning curve but it also balances it out, because you actually have to pace yourself and be accurate instead of just full auto spamming like smgs, auto and pulse rifles

Ace gooood gun, but on controller it sucks, for controller extremely good are Eyasluna, Hawkmoon, Fatebringer, 50/50 Thorn, Austringer.
Ace kicks like a mule and has just insane bloom where sometimes game just doesn't count any bullet, or besides Hawkmoon can compete need just to catch roll with 67 range and 63 stability, but it will kicks harder, better 62 range and 73 stability.
Gun has been consistant for ages but not broken. People just getting rolled by Terror using it and suddenly its OP lol

Start in rumble if you can win your 1s you will be just fine in other modes for the most part. Then move onto competitive whenever trials isn’t up to practice that 3v3 feel.
