Let me tell you why I bought one of the cleanest S13s out there and what I've done and plan to do with it.

The Nissan 240x is an extremely popular car in the BMX world, so I wasn't surprised at the massive demand to do a video about this car. Everyone has a connection to a 240 in some way, whether it be having a friend that owns one, a sibling, or maybe even wanting to slide one around yourself. I bought this car for one reason, TO HAVE FUN. In the end of the day, that's what it's about to me. As much as I would have liked to build this car from scratch myself, it is 100% unrealistic with everything else I have going on. I feel as though I explain everything pretty well in this video though. Just as a disclaimer (even though I say it like 100000000 times) I'M NOT MAKING THIS VIDEO PRETENDING THAT THIS CAR IS 100% MY BUILD. I wanted to acknowledge what has been done to the car (and done right might I add) by the awesome previous owner and set the slate clean for this car to become my own. I love 240s, I love you guys (NH), and I love this car. Let me share it with you :)

8 years ago this car started it all. LZMFG and Drift HQ together are an automotive empire. The LZ World Tour is probably viewed more than FD. LZ has competed in and won in FD in 3 different cars. Bought a compound. Got a rad girlfriend. Awesome employees. Atleast 30 something cars including ones in 3 or 4 different countries. And so much more. Hyped to be a part of this journey. And beyond stoked Jimmy is on the same track to create his own empire in CT.

Watching old videos make me sad when you realise that old Adam is gone,brings back much nostaliga because this is one of my first videos I every watched of this channel.

Dude I am feeling it so much now! Since he beginning of 2020 I feel disconnected to adam.... i wanna see his life, i wanna see him driving the cars and not just doing crazy builds... i just wanna see vids like the good old days, when he showed is life, is house, his own garage, his cars (now he just build them it’s seems like, he is not showing them...) I actually have not miss a single video since this one from July 2015 (no joke it’s actually true) but man for me 2019 was the peak of Adam Lz but 2020 is the worst year since 2015... 2020 has just made me wish the old Adam was back. Like look he his relax, talking about his cars, talking about price, money, etc.... back it the days he was talking to the subs about his plans and showing more than just building cars... don’t get me wrong there is good things about the 2020 (now 2021) Adam lz. I love fd, i love Colette (i almost prefer her vids now cause she shows another side of lz and I love it...), I love drag racing, I love drift week, I love all of his cars but it feels like I am watching lzmfg and not Adam lz. I want him to show is cars more, talk about them, etc.... I would love Adam to show more of his life like he did back in the days... I wish he would see this message cause I truely love this guy, I’ve spend so many hours of my life geeking about his stuff and his life and I just wanna watch Adam lz video again and not lzmfg video... his current content his good don’t change it but he should had more daily stuff to the vids and more cars driving and messing around and the vids would be perfect! I don’t want him to become tanner fox (that’s way to much messing around) but I want him to have 2021 content but with the more personal 2018 vibes! I wish him the best, sincerely !

is drifting in Fd for like the 4th year, drifting euro drift masters, is traveling the world drifting in random fun events, co owns the biggest drift company, oh and has a 30 acre compound where he wakes up and tests his 30 drift cars. .. what a freaking inspiration.

It's really cool to look back at all of your old videos now and how people thought 7300 was ridiculous this whole thing changed the game for drifting and how you keep mentioning you want to change the color and it has become a signature for your channel I didn't start watching from here but I've gone back and watched almost all of your videos and you have really changed my life bringing me so much joy and shown me something I strive be like in the future I bought my 07 350z because of how much you influence me and that's enough of me being weird and emotional if you actually see this you really are the mpv of my life thanks for everything and idk like this if you actually read it just to let me know or idk if I'm too cringy don't 😂

4 years later, thank you adam! you and your cream 240sx really got me in to cars to the point where i wanted to pursue them. it’s crazy when i saw this, i was 11 and i already was ready to drive because what you did to your car appealed to me so much. whenever i see your channel somewhere, i think of the 240sx first every time.

Haha this is strange. I've been drifting and watching your videos for ages, and you recently inspired me to buy a bmx for something to learn to do while i can't be out drifting, like when the car is broken or i've run out of money!
Weird that you consider SR20's reliable in US. In the UK it's the opposite haha. Just make sure it has rocker stoppers and an oil cooler before you get out and give it hell on tracks.

Running the SSQV blow off valve on a stock Ecu with the stock maf causes the car to run absurdly rich when the car blows-off (ex. Between gears). The air exiting the valve is measured air (after the mass air flow sensor) and is essentially an air leak; one way to fix this is recirculating the BOV &/or running the MAF after the blow off valve. I watched the video and noticed it tends to bog it seems In between shifts; and the reason above is why. Dope ride though!

the only people that complain about "bought not built" are people who are jealous of what you bought
ive got a 91 s13 hatch thats mostly stock, suspension upgrades, stock sr20det put in with 47.5k miles, clean as hell. and ive had offers around 6.5k. these cars will be worth gold in a year or two when they become classics.
the color is meh (just my opinion), but that is a very clean tidy s13 man, im jelly

Im building a 350z into a drift car new suspension, control arms, steering knuckels, and gonna keep it stock motor just for starting. Roll Cage, harnesses,etc. Gonna be dope! Was gonna build a 240sx but the 350z will last me a lot longer in college.

I just bought my first 240. It's a Limited Edition 1993 240SX SE Convertible with 47,000 miles. Buying it for $4,800. No rust and completely solid. There is just a tear in one seat and a small dent on the body. It was owned by a retired cop who drove it on the weekends every once in a while. Very lucky find and super excited. I was wondering if there is anything tuning wise that you would do first?

I was so curious about the specs on your 240!! I just found your channel a few days ago and I started from the back and worked my way up to this video (I didn't watch them áll, but defenitely a lot)... Nice plans for the future, curious how much you have done so far with the car (which I will know soon when I catch up with the current, 2016 videos). Edit: Oh and it is AWESOME you did a shout-out to the previous owner! It is not bad if you bought a car instead of building it - you have to start somewhere - but I hate those people who buy an already tuned car and then bragging about something they didn't do...
TarikTJS just watch all of his videos, they are all good and you will enjoy them, I've been here since 10k, and I keep coming back to this video for some reason, I think it's because I cannot wait to get one myself, but yeah Adam is one of the most down to earth youtubers out there
I will definitely enjoy them - no doubt. I watched around 50 videos of Adam I guess... up untill Peper Jam 2015. It's kinda funny cause I am not into BMX besides watching some vids in the past. But I like all the characters and the dedication into getting a trick done. And I feel the satisfaction if it goes right.

Bro, you basically just said exactly what I want to do if/ when I get a 240sx. I'm just in the state of trying to find one around me (Indiana, which sucks apparently, been looking for something in decent shape). I just don't want some ragged out one atm. I just want a car to get me to point A-B and learn a manual in, because I want to be able to drive stick well before I do anything technical, so I don't just burn it out. I need to build financially so I can actually have money to possibly get a LS motor and swap it, which I think would be amazing in a 240. I also love the S13 models too, I love the look of the oldschool flip up lights and the overall body style I think is better looking (especially tail/ head lights). But they're even harder to find in good shape because they're older I guess, idk all the ones I've seen have looked ratty as all hell in my price range. I also want interior, because even tho the backseat is small (understandable), I'll still have moments where one of my friend's will have to come and I'd rather them not sit on the floor lol

I'm in Southern California so I can find a perfect stock 240sx coupe or hatch for like 3-4 and even a clean one for like 5. I know you probably won't install an AC but used parts will run about $300 including freon of which I did my own AC in my 92" s13 coupe with an SR. Congrats on your new s chassis.

I remember these cars stock 1990-1994 when I was in the Navy. At that point I fell in love with these. I am looking one of these as a project car. Sorry, NO DRIFTING. I just want a nice cheap old car to drive, and these import classics are safer than my other option, which would have been a first generation Dodge Neon. I love these cool cars.
