After several comments from people, it seems that the Kickstarter version (in this video) of the Bobby Backpack is quite different from the retail version. Key differences are that there are no internal: zipped side pockets or sleeve at the top.

+Odyssey oh yes, totally forgot about that. However just had a look and they don't look that secure because there's no close to the pocket. The card/cash might just slip out...
James Chia the cards do slip out very easy. I had my myki in it and almost lost it because it had fallen out with out me noticing

Thanks for your review man, it was very helpful. What surprised me was that it didn't matter that there wasn't any particular order to how you were looking around the bag, I think I would've checked everything out the same way. Your material descriptions are great too, it really helps to be able to relate something to "seatbelt material" or other.

The top hidden pocket inside at the middle is actually for the Rain Cover that needs addition buy. Gotcha!

Good review and great product! Thanks. Don't think you've noticed that the "seat belt material" band + the upper handle work together to attach the backpack to a carry-on, which is a sweet touch. Cheers
The "seatbelt material" is for putting the bag on a suitcase handle.

James the cut proof feature is just on the last layer so you still can cut the bag but not through it

Most important thing must backpack designs don't take into account is where to put your phone as to separate from keys/lose change so it doesn't get scratched. This one seems to have it covered and then some. I'm looking for a new pack to replace my Herschel pop quiz and I might get one of these. Cheers!

Like for example I have about 4 books in different sizes and weight so does it become heavy ( also is it handy in situations like that ? ) on my back or it just for made for a notebooks and laptop/+tablet and that's it ??

Thanks for the great video! I'm a student and I use a binder/folder everyday. How big/thick of a folder can fit in the bag? Thanks
+Nathan Z you can probably realistically fit only one thick (3cm ish eidth) folder in it. If you're not carrying a laptop then maybe two.
Does the hero Bobby bag comes with the card holder, cover,....?
James, the 2 videos about the backpack were great. How is the padding on the outermost layer? The product's page says it features a 6 mm anti-shock sandwiched between the cut-proof layers. Does it cover the backpack from top to bottom and does it feel reasonably effective at protecting contents from shocks?

Generally the protection all-round is pretty good. The description they describe is pretty accurate, however ultimately I believe that the backpack is more a deterrent than it is of a safe if that makes sense. If someone really wanted to get into the bag, I believe that they would but I think it is more effective against the occasional attempted knife slashes and making people think twice about stealing from your bag.

The mesh part that sits on your back is not cut proof. This is most likely what it meant when it said to "be careful not to cut the back pack" on the box.

I have the compact one and it fits maybe 2-3 books worth. The big one can maybe fit 1-2 more books, my boyfriend has that one.

Some pro pick pocketers use a sharp blade to open up backpacks to get thier hands in while on you, are the materials sturdy enough withstand a small blade or knife?

The reason why it says be careful cutting because there a multiple layer the top layer is not cut proof but a couple of layers down it is a cut proof material
Does the book bag come with it's own portable charging box or do u have to buy separately?

Here's one.... doesnt the raincoat itself not function as an anti theft device since you can't access the zips? I'm thinking of just getting a raincoat for the backpack I already have
+TheRoboCaterpillar yes and no... I kinda see where you're coming from but it doesn't make the bag scratch resistant and it does make the bag a lot harder to access.

Hello. Do you happen to know if the charging port work with power banks that have switch-on buttons?
+Shikin Hambali at the end of the day it's just a USB extension cable. So any powerbank that uses USB ill work.
Why mine does not have the zipper on the side that the USB cable goes inside the backpack? (It's original)
What is that seatbelt strap for? I hope it's a waist strap. I can't believe they'd put all those features on the pack and not have a waist strap.
It's for putting it on a hang luggage handle, slipping it through.
I guess this bag becomes anti-anti theft when the potential thief watches how to open it, right? Good thing everything is tucked away as trying to expose the zip would surely alert the wearer. Thanks for the vid :)

The seat belt strap is for carrying it on top of wheeled luggage.

It nice and all, for people with a lot of tech. It doesn't seem to be waterproof. That alone is a no go for me. I do appreciate the anti-theft features.
