Let me say one thing. You probably never made a list on paper but every guy who is trying to decide between girls goes through a list of pros and cons. Its very normal to do when trying to decide who you want to be with. Even putting it on paper isn't very odd. So I am calling cap, on you saying you never made a list. If you never made a list then you were never in a situation similar to Ross. You have to compare potential girlfriends to decide who you want to pursue.

I appreciated that they made Julie genuinely nice, and her only "crime" was getting Ross first, and Rachel feeling threatened by her.

Threatened might be the wrong word. Julie was the one who had Ross up until now. Rachel was jealous.

Fun fact: in the episode Marcel was missing, Joey couldn't help the hot girls with the heater. He literally learned so he could get girls😅

Sad thing is, she still ultimately fared better than most love interests we follow up with.

@@sbasi2739 I wouldn't say fastrack. Rachel was already prepared to give Ross a chance before she even knew about her. If anything, she was a "complication" thrown into the mix by the writers. Kinda like Paolo (they are of course very different characters, but still serve similar narrative purposes).
Jennifer and David later stated that they had feelings for each other in real life, but they were never single at the same time, so nothing happened.

Nick, I agree totally with you. Ross and Rachel really have that sparkle. Shame how it ended this episode.
I totally understand Rachel being upset, but I do feel bad for Ross bc the list was Chandler’s idea, Ross just went along with it, Ross mentioned all those things about Rachel in a way that tells us they weren’t THAT big of a deal to him, and he WAS trying to decide whether or not to end a great relationship with Julie, which he ended up doing for Rachel. So again, I get where Rachel is coming from, but it sucks that Ross lost the love of his life over something so trivial in its conception, innocent in its intention, and minor in its conviction.
Yeah the list definately looked worse than it was.

There is a deleted scene of Ross and Julie going to look for a cat. Julie narrows it down to 2 different cats and asks Ross to make the final decision between them. They dont have a fight, but Ross reacts to the unintentional metaphor in typical Ross fashion.

Always felt a little sorry for Julie, she was a sweet character that did nothing wrong but because she stood in the way of ross/rachel getting together people automatically didn't like her 🤷♀️

I'll let you know now that the Friends aren't really big into Halloween. 🤷♀ I think there's only one Halloween episode in the entire series (they're not big into dressing up, I guess). Instead of the usual ones of Halloween and Christmas, the big holidays on Friends are Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve!! This is actually the only season that we don't see them celebrate Thanksgiving together (just a mention of Thanksgiving during the Mocklate episode) but, every Thanksgiving episode after this will be very memorable!!

I understand Racheal was upset, and she had the right to be, but Ross still had to choose between her and Julie. It’s not like flipping a coin or something, every choice you make is based on evaluation. If he didn’t make a physical list and just thought about it in his head he would still eventually had made a mental list.

After watching your Hazbin Hotel reaction (both of you) it’s because of that but I truly believe that either Nick or Cody would really enjoy the TV show Supernatural. It’s funny, action packed, hits you in the feels, and a little bit scary all in one, and a very, very long journey but I think both of you would love it. Although it’s never going to happen.
