  • Follow along with Millie’s Driving Lessons from a complete beginner until her driving test!
Milies making really good progress so in todays lesson we drove in a new area to test her skills. Driving in a new area can always be challenging as you don’t know what to expect, so millie was a little overwhelmed with the roundabouts and pedestrian crossings close together. But she made great progress by the end.

That driver behind the learner at the roundabout was totally outrageous! Shocking behaviour honking at someone who's still learning! Some people forget that they were learning once.

@@shokriahaidari2849 I drive an automatic. I have dyspraxia and after 4 months of learning in a manual I found it hard to co-ordinate the gears. I'd forget to change down and kept stalling at junctions. My instructor who'd previously worked with my mother spoke to my mother and told her she thought I was struggling and that I should take a break and come back in a year or two. But my father suggested I switch to an automatic - I did much better and passed my test a few months later. That was 22 years ago this month. I've done fine with automatics.

The way the silver car at 19:49 pulled in, you knew that would not be the end of it. He basicly blamed the learner in front for his behaviour. And he should have known he had to keep the crossing clear. I had a feeling that the ladies on the pavement just after the crossing where discussing his behaviour too. Millie is a very responsible driver, I'm sure!

Brilliant driving instructor, even though i am happy with my current instructor, i do wish this was in my area. One bit of good advice to millie is to keep calm when cars are behind at junctions otherwise it makes you try to process all other factors too quick leading to possible mistakes, i had this problem when i was early on in my lessons. She drives really well

    My favourite parts:
05:43 - 05:48 because I had the same issue of waffling so many times when I couldn't speak properly.
    26:12 - 26:41 because I love those colourful houses! 🌈
    29:01 I love Aman's whispering voices. 😌
31:23 I thought that was a zebra crossing, too. We got used to letting people cross. 🤣
17:39 and 17:57 - I don't know why people don't signal when turning / moving off / parking onto the side of the road.
20:05 - 20:19 I hate impatient drivers like him in behind the learner driver. He doesn't realise that there is another learner driver behind him! 😡
Also, I had the same problem in Alperton, where there were 2 buses blocking the zebra crossing on both sides, and I wanted to cross the road.
    05:09 05:11 08:26 20:00 20:05 20:12 30:33 What's up with people pressing the horns?

Hey don’t be dishearten everyone learns at a different rate.
But you should look for a more patient driving instructor as learning to drive should be fun and not make you anxious like this.
Try practicing on quiet roads on like a Sunday morning and see how you do. If you’re really struggling with driving manual then you could try automatic
That will take the pressure off you

The indicating when going on a rondabout is strange..it's a one way kinda situation... We only have to indicate when leaving the rondabout, wich makes much more sense.. so when people aren't indicating you know they will stay on the rondabout. And if they indicate you know they wil leave and it's save for you to enter
31:40 What even are they doing.. 🤦🏼‍♂
