I passed in March with 2 minors. One quick tip I learnt from my instructor is to always lower the left mirrow to be able to see the full door handle while doing parallel parking and the left and right mirrow while doing reverse parking. It really helped me , don’t know if any does same X

I passed in March, got a car last month. I have only been driving for a few weeks. Extremely nervous and parking is my main weakness. I dont know how to come close to the kerb and which way to reverse! It’s super embarrassing but oh well… thanks to this channel, I have somewhere to turn to for advice and encouragement ❤️

could you do a short video on adjusting the side mirrors for Parallel parking because my mirrors seem to be off in my own car and it sometimes makes me misjudge the angle and when the kerb goes so I turn to early or late because both of them are angles different 🤣
Ahah yes
Well with adjusting your mirrors just keep a little bit of your car in view ( 1-2 finger width)
Adjust the mirrors so it’s 50/50 with the horizon line
You can lower it slightly to help with the reverse exercise
But I will try to do a video on how the mirrors should be set

This technique is what I use, only I use the left back passenger window, align it middle with the rear of parked car. The rest is how it's taught here. Millie's doing well.

The app is good for learning but Just be careful because in the actual theory test the questions are so different to the app, what I did was flag each one I was unsure off, read the question to myself a couple of times then the answer will come. Good luck.

It’s okay as we were reversing at this point and not affecting the cyclist. It’s also a very wide road so there’s plenty of space for both
We would need to stop if the cyclist was coming up from behind

I am confused AS FUCK no matter how many times I watch this video or how many times my instructor tells me how to do it! 🤡😢😢
I think of the car being a huge door with the hinge being near your nearside back wheel. First objective reverse back on a curve, then straighten up reverse till you are near the kerb. This positions the hinge. Apply the right hand lock and watch "the door close". When you are straight in the road you should coincide straightening up.
It will get easier with practice :)
Just try to keep yourself slow and be aware of your surroundings
