That was an epic post match interview and the happiest I've seen Djokovic in awhile. I'm so glad the crowd supported him like that and he truly felt it!!

So many rich people move to Monaco and don't take the time to learn the language... He did it, showing he respects the country he lives in - and not only taking advantage of the lax legislation.
Novak is fluent in 9 languages.
@@markouskokovic3897 well let's be careful with words. I admire Novak but no one - or a very limited number of people on earth is fluent in 7, 8 or 9 languages. Novak speaks a pretty good French, with a good vocabulary, but he is far from being fluent. But the effort is here, and this is something we love.

Djokovic is so charismatic and likeable. So nice seeing him so happy after this victory
I agree. What a match! I suppose the only tense-ish moment besides gameplay was when he wanted the court swept. But who knows … maybe that banter contributed to his eventual win in some small cosmic way. Oh and when he got a time violation and lost his first serve. That felt a little unnecessary given how late it was. But then Musetti wanting Djoker to get that first serve back. I thought that was sweet. So glad I got to enjoy all of it from beginning to end ❤

Humble, respectful and down to earth while the new kids and their coaches are full of bull$it. Their arrogant attitude inside the court eclipses the beauty of their tennis. Wish they learn modesty from Nole if they can’t learn tennis from him.
@@rodriguezahr Sinner and Alcaraz are arrogant? Name one time when Sinner did anything out of order or was rude/arrogant.
@@CL2- I’m talking in general. Notice how the youngsters are always looking to their teams and gesturing with their hands at every point they win even when their opponent is making an unforced error. Sinner make it in a subtle way, Alcaraz exaggerates a bit too much. Both or then however show respect toward their opponent but I’ve never seen someone that praises their opponent game during and after a match as Djokovic.

Novak Djokovic's beast comes out at belated stage most of the times and there are many precedents how he emerged as a victorious. Will power and stamina overcome like this match the result of 5th set tells it all. I can hope he will win this marathon as a champion lifting his 25th grand slam trophy. A dream coming true.
Very unlikely, there are much better players than Musetti, if Zverev could take out Nadal, handling Djokovic, should be much easier.
Nadal has done almost nothing for a year. It was no shock at all that Zverev beat him.
Zverev himself was much closer to losing last night than Djokovic.
I'd have Sinner as favourite, but will never count out Novak in a grand slam.

Full credit to Djokovic speaking French to connect with the spectators after a gruelling match. I believe he played much better on Roland Garros in previous years. Djokovic was merely being gracious to Musetti saying that it was the best match he ever played.

yup had pretty much all of it. Djokovic was close enough in set 2 but did not close that one. then hustled all the way as he knows best. got to give him credit for his humility. he hung in there and in the end played a perfect set 5. Well done.
