Great show guys loved the chat about Billy Sloan and winning concert tickets. I won a ticket for Rod Stewart and the Faces in a competition in the Daily Record late 1973 at the Greens Playhouse. Kenny Dalglish and Sandy Jardine were just a few rows in front of me. Ronnie Wood was still with the band and Maggie Bell sang a few songs with Rod. Great concert HH

Waterfront was released 14 November 1983 so I’m guessing the video was shot in October 1983? The Apollo, bigger venue compared to Barrowlands was open up till around 1989. The SECC became the default venue for larger bands from the mid 80’s onwards.

Brendan Rodgers puts his side kick John Kennedy forward to speak with the press because of the lack of transfer activity at our football club, John Kennedy speak the usual rubbish to keep Peter Lawwell happy, their no signings in the pipeline like i said a few weeks ago because we cant sell Matt O'riley to raise the funds for transfer business at Celtic. Brendan Rodgers is soo furious he cant even speak with the press because he knows deep down that he wants to blast the board. At this moment in time John Kennedy has admitted that Celtic could struggle again this season because of the lack of quality in our team. unless Brendan Rodgers start sorting out that board he will be away before christmas as the clock is ticking

There is one of two things happening here. Either Patrick has extremely detailed knowledge of the inner working of the club and its transfer business, and commenting based on that inside knowledge, or he is spouting rubbish with no knowledge whatsoever. That is to say he is talking out his arse!! I know which I am leaning towards!!!
Not just funds from O'Reilly Patrick. We need to get at least ten players off the wage bill. Can't honestly see us spending 6,7,8 million or more on new players with that lot still hanging around.
