When we needed to rejuvenate the squad after chiellini pirlo and bonucci were getting old he decided to get Ronaldo dani alves Danilo. We sold Joao cancelo and de light. We sold Cristian Romero to atalanta now he is a WC winner. We lost multiple centerbacks that are world class today.
Then he got Ronaldo which we didn't need at 37 . And on top of that never signed another forward after losing dybala higuain mandzukic .
It was literally ronaldo and kean.

Not only we signed Ronaldo past his prime. We lost dybala higuain cancelo Romero kulusevski bentancur madzukic and morata and never replaced them.
People say vlahovic. We got vlahovic late in a winter transfer window. We got milik on loan in the very last day of the summer transfer window.
How does a club that losses 5 strikers waits till the last day of the transfer window to get a guy on loan.

It feels like because Juventus kept striking oil by signing players that were perhaps written off by other clubs for being too old, like Pirlo, Matuidi, Tevez, Mandzukic etc, they just assumed their luck would continue by signing an old Ronaldo, Di Maria etc

@@JosephPAbate NO, they didn't. On the contrary, in the last 10 years, juve bought players from many italian clubs (fiorentina, napoli, sassuolo, roma) for about 1mlrd€: juve stole nothing, it just made the italian football to stay alive....

He was incredible but the way he got treated at the end.....they should be ashamed.....alesaandro should have ended his career at Juventus.Even if he could only play 5-10 matches in his last season and had to be paid a full salary......he deserved it.....and i dont think he wanted a lot of money at the end.....the juve directors are what ruined the club.The stadium they built is an example of how not to....its too small.....they only wanted to build it so they could make money on the side......everything was 3-4 times more expensive......juve is a royal team worldwide.....and somehow they have financial problems.Even whem they bought Ronaldo they stole money from the club:))) they paid 120mil because everything at juve has a 20% commision:))) even a bottle of water costs 2 times more.....its a financial octopus.....this sort of stuff destroyed serie a.....tv rights undersold for a commision.....these are "street" rumors

Lil context: he is one if the most humble person to ever happen to serie a . At the peack of his success his parents were often guest on a football show called quelli che il calcio and they were so simple and lived in a normal house just as he always had.
Remember had tears on my eyes when he left Juve..Loved juve and football because of his shirt when had it on me when I was 5 in 1999..Still do follow him and he def needs to be back to Juve.
Having a man like Del Piero back at the club in a director role would boost the team’s confidence and bring so much more balance to an environment that has struggled with internal conflicts and politics for the last decade.
True, Juve will always be hated in Italy, as unfortunately the country’s views and mentality are so bigoted and close minded, but this man’s class is undeniable. Perhaps it’d be the best move the club could make to shine again. After all, besides the narrow minded views, players like Del Piero, Maldini and Zanetti will always be respected by any club’s supporter, for what they’ve given to football and for their immense class.
I can imagine that even some young talented footballers would prefer move to Juve with Del Piero as a president instead of going somewhere else because he's such a legend and icon. Not only of Juventus but of Italian and world football as well. Loved by many, hated by none.

Without them Serie A would be near to nothing in terms of TV rights, merchandising and image in general. If I was walking in Elkan's shoes, I'd close all Juventus' business in Serie A, buy a little team in another league, re-fund it and re-name it Juventus and play in a different league just to see Serie A going down the toilet as it would deserve.

When Juve in Serie B, Alex had so many chances play in other big teams. I remember, Real Madrid was one of the most aggressive clubs to sign him at that time. But he chose to stay at Juve, what a man.
I'll never forget. I almost scored from the kick off with him against my friend on pes6 on my ps2 and I had my friends watching and his older brothers too 😂. I dribbled the ball & the ball was on top of his head and he was running through on goal with it. What a player he was.

ADP gave such a good explanation of the Juve season. Only one thing that he didn't get into (and which he will never say on TV but many ppl know to be true), namely the political nature of the situation Juve find themselves in. Juve are being punished / persecuted by the FIGC (on 'instruction' from UEFA) because they are one of the three clubs behind the Super League. Just last week Gravina (president of the FIGC) was appointed vice president of UEFA ... this should give you an idea of the politics in play here.
