Watching from Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪
Hello Dublin!! What a wonderful city Dublin is. First went there in 1984!
Watching from Orange CO. CA. I wish I had known of you before my 24K Beverly Hills TT/Lipo!! I had low levels of iron and both my doctor and my surgeon still did the surgery. I was hoping you would also have talked about the CONSEQUENCES of having low iron and surgery and what happens if they do . I feel I healed slower than most, my blood circulation was bad and I feel there's so much more I don't know about this. My lymphatic system did not do so well afterwards either. It was all so slow in healing. I am still low in iron, this is something I have had for a long time prior to surgery. I had my babies via C-section and I had never in my life been anemic. I always had heavy periods too, I was fine. I don't know how or why I became anemic. I am still taking iron now, plant based. I will try and eat more steak and liver now that you have said it's better to have. THX once again for speaking to us about what we don't know.

OMG. Deficiency of iron, the reason my procedure was canceled. Dr. Sent prescription and now just have to wait and hope for the best and reschedule me a date.
Sorry to hear that. But keep in mind when we are talking about Iron deficiency there are two sides to the equation. Iron in and Iron out. Make sure to see your gynecologist to see if the iron out is a problem that is not allowing you to refill your iron and leading to iron deficient anemia

Wow I thought the iron fish was gnna end up being a joke I can’t believe this is actually real- love the info
It's real. I have one. It is really easy to use. And it is really cute and sits on my counter. I think it is an ingenious idea.
Watching from Michigan
I lived there for 7 years and all my boys were born there. I really love Michigan. For the winter though I prefer Miami!!
Take magnesium citrate to combat constipation. Helps so much! Magnesium is so good for you on so many levels anyway.
Oh, but they compete for absorption so take them at seperate times. Morning/night

Dextrin fiber can help absorb nutrients
How much vitamin C should we be taking prior to surgery? Watching from Kansas.
Vitamin C is just to help with the absorption of the Iron so it is taken along with the Iron pill at the same time and usually 500 mg is sufficient.
Thank you!!!
Why no protein shakes two weeks prior to surgery? Are you referring to Atkins or Slim Fast type shakes or ANY protein shake? Kind of off topic but like to gain a better understanding because I am almost at my two week pre-surgery date with you. 😊
If you want to have protein shakes that is ok. I just think they tend to be processed food with a lot of calories and you are better to consume whole foods which have fiber and other nutrients and are lower in calories.
Watching from NOVA. My PTT is what's keeping me from getting my surgery right now. My hemoglobin is great 14.3 the last time I checked. So I'm hoping this PTT will go to normal so I can get my breast lift/augmentation soon...😒
Where is NOVA?
