  • A WONDERFUL, UNCOMPLICATED DAY OF SHEEP CHORES.
I love lambing... but honestly, my favourite days on the farm, are those where I can chore in the morning (with no surprises), and catch up on management jobs in the afternoon.
    I live for these days.
And today was one of them...
So glad you are able to share it with me!
    As always...
Thank you all for being here, subscribing, liking... ALL THE THINGS!
I wish you knew how much all those things mean to me.
    Love,
    S.

Such a great sheep farm. Being from Idaho I'm used to seeing sheep out on the range with sheepherders during the summer. I can see how your barn creates so much less management problems. They have everything they need and they are safe. Kinsey did so well helping you herd the "Billy" sheep! p.s.I love seeing the babies bouncing round and running up and down when the moms are eating. I would never get anything done because I would be playing with and petting sheep all day. lol

Sandi Borck.... I stumbled on your youtube page about a month ago. It is so obvious how much you love your job and care for the sheep. I always thought of sheep farmers as just seeing the sheep as money. You really care for them and it's awesome!!

Home gardening. For our potatoes, we plant on a mound. You can dig potatoes and then cover up the hole. They will continue to produce throughout the season. Peas and beans will continue and you can get many pickings off them. Onions will sit on top of the ground, you can let them grow to whatever size you want then pick. You should get quite a bit from your garden for the size. Squash and cucumbers will keep producing. Pick, pick, pick. Squash and cucumbers put on flowers and then the veg will grow from that. Enjoy your multiple harvests!

I'm a agronomy student from Brazil and I dream of opening my own sheep farm after I graduate. Your videos have been a great inspiration and a great class (watching you I learned a lot about raising sheep and expanded my vocabulary in English, which will help me a lot if I ever get a job in North America). Perharps, if all goes well, I will open my farm in Canada. Thank you for everything and keep up the amazing work! Big hug from a big fan from Brazil!

I started watching with the roof disaster so it's so nice to see things running smoothly now. Watching you bravely work through the problems, victories and the everyday chores makes me appreciate my little farm so much more. Looking into some sheep handling equipment after seeing yours. Glad you are showing more with shearing, lambing, etc. Haven't mastered getting my sheep to spin on command yet.

Wonderful overview of your routine. Even if you think that you are not organized you cover it well. Clean barn is an efficient barn. Thanks for taking us along and explaining so well.

My hubs sitting across the room just asked which sheep barn I was watching! Smart guy. I started watching when Charlie sheared in November and can’t stop watching. You gave me incentive to visit a local sheep farm, plus just met a young man with 300 Rambouillet, sells wool to Pendleton Mills. Lamb has also been on our dinner table.

@941 the lamb resting it's chin on the creep gate...so cute. Then when the rest of the lambs run back & away again it seems to come out of its trance & then go hopping and running to join everyone else. Soooooo cute.

    Another amazing video, Sandi!!!
One of the many parts of lambing, or any video Sandi puts out, that is one of my many favorites, the running of the lambs as their mama's eat!!!
Looking forward to your next video, Sandi!! Please stay safe in the meantime!!!
