- We finally got some rain.
Unfortunately, my barn also got some rain.
After a full morning of dealing with our fair share of water already flooding the sheep barn!
As they say...
When it rains, it pours.
Love you all!

There is just a sense of peace and calm when the animals are content. You are a super shepherd.
This is a small silly thing but, watching your dog's tail wag so happily on fast forward is one of the happiest cutest moments of any day
I thought the very same thing!!! So cute!!❤
The sheep asked me to thank you for all your hard work.
For sure.. She has very clean Barn and loves 💘her babys
Your sheep are very lucky to have a human who loves and cares for them like you do! And trust me animals are very smart. They know it and show it. Bless your heart and your animals always!
Love you Sandi - thankful you are all safe! The perspective from up high is the perfect reminder of the value of your hard work!
Storms are so unpredictable. I'm so glad you guys are ok. Bummer you had to clean the barn out from the water flood. And having to do it multiple times is never fun. Thanks for your videos. I love watching them.
Thanks Bobbie!
“I’m going to kinda let Mother Nature dry it up a bit”
Famous last words
RIght?!!!
lol
Thank you Sandi. I sit here watching you work so hard, with guilty feelings of helplessness to lend you a hand. I get it when you are reflecting on the joy and happiness of your flock, good for the soul. Better days ahead for sure. Good luck!
Love that Kinsey. She stays right with you through thick and thin.
I am from Bangalore, India, I will appreciate your dedication and courage in handling this type of unexpected situation .I glad to learn that all animals are safe.
Sridhar
So glad to hear you guys are safe. A tornado 15 mins away could have easily been a very dangerous time.
Love all the bottle babies, clustered at the fencing, to watch what you’re doing.
Lucky you did the really dry canola the day before! I imagine it would've been everywhere with the wind!
I am so sorry for the extra work and stress Mother Nature delivered to you. I know sometimes you must feel like punching the wind and pulling your hair, but I hope you also know what a great blessing you are to sooo many. You have such a genuinely beautiful face and smile, and it’s plain for all to see that it’s generated from within. You really are such an amazing, remarkable person! Know that you’re greatly appreciated and lifted up in our prayers each and everyday!
Heck Sandi, you are such a trooper! I'm so sorry the elements were against you but congratulations on keeping your sheep safe and comfortable! My heart goes out to you and I wish I had your strength.
As I have said before YOU ARE AMAZING!! You seem so cool thru everything that comes your way. Your sheep and family are lucky to have you. Bless you.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So many people would have went back to bed! You are an inspiration!! Your work ethic is amazing! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is always something.! Just when you think you are on top it Mother Nature smiles and sends something else to keep one busy. your backing skills are impressive! Glad you are safe.
I can so relate to the consequences of walking past a job you can see needs doing! Always comes back to bite me too haha. Glad there wasn’t too much damage from the storm.
Sandi, I was stressing waiting and watching for the curtains to lower. The wind was intense blowing the rain inside. You kept your cool and persevered. You did GREAT 👍👍
Thanks Cynthia! My stomach was in knots!
That was so intense.....so happy you and your family are safe and you beautiful lambs and sheep are happy....thanks for another awesome video....and thanks for letting us come along on your journey 🐑🐑💖
Sandi, I’ve been watching your channel for some time now. I really enjoy all aspects of your families operation. Days like you showed us here, where you don’t know if the weather will damage or destroy your sheep, crops or efforts are blood pressure raising even on video. Thank you for once again being mindful enough to include us in THE EVENT, even while it is happening.
I agree with Duane Antor. The sheep are so thankful for you cleaning their barn and just loving and caring for them. And thank you for sharing your life with us. We know it’s extra work for you but we really enjoy your videos !
What a wild day, Sandi! Thanks for taking us along for the ride! :) SO glad you are all safe!
When I saw the inside of your barn I’m like noooooo, not again 😭
LOL! Thats exactly what I said too!
I, at an older age, have been very fortunate to have found people like you and get to share your passion. There are several others I follow that also very passionate about their lives. In your case watching the lamb olympics should make everyone feel wonderful. Thank you!
What a trooper you are! I'm completely overwhelmed with how much work now needs to be done. You... are my hero!
You have every right and more to be proud. All of those Mummy's are alive and all of those little ones are thriving because of you.
They all love and trust you.
I think that says a lot...
Ahh sideways rain, a classic. I was worried the canapy was going to tare again- glad it turned our alright
I always worry now!
Oh my goodness. I could relate to so many parts of your day. Water flooding the barn and clean out. Ugh. No need for you to pay a fitness center to get exercise!!😉
@@SandiBrock what did you mean when you said you got a million dollar rain last weekend? I've never heard that expression before so I was curious what it meant.
Sandi, you are a woman of many talents!! Your work ethic is unwavering, your dedication and perseverance are next to none. Your hard work gives me motivation to get things done. All the best from Texas.
You are so dedicated to your babies. It is a wonderful thing to see. You are a very special person
Shalom. Thanks for sharing this video..Strom and flood..May the Lord give you wisdom and strength for the hard season..Peace and protection will cover your areas....farm and people around you..GOD BLESS
You are an amazing woman! You take on adversity and challenges with gusto and a great sense of humor. I truly admire the work ethic of you and your family.
Thanks for all the info on your life as a lady farmer! Sorry for your emergency water problems. Hope the rest of your week goes better!!
Thanks Jennifer!
Glad that tornado didn't hit your farm. Sorry you had all that extra work.
So close! Destroyed some grain bins about 15 minutes south of us!
@@SandiBrock so glad you are all safe
Glad you didn't get hit with the tornado...keep up the great work. Love watching the videos.
A couple weeks ago we had a storm like that...the rain was going vertical and the wind was strong enough to shake our house. Our bedroom window started leaking. I live in Moore, Oklahoma so I unfortunately have personal experience with monster tornadoes...lived through two EF-5s.
Paisano's Roost Farm in Southern New Mexico: I feel for you. It's the monsoon season here. We can get a dust devil on top of us, Virga (rain that doesn't hit the ground), a little rain with dust (dirtballs on vehicles), pouring rain with localized flooding and arroyo flood warnings. Last night, storms in Truth or Consequences had flash flooding and the gate on Elephant Butte dam was closed. I have to keep a watch on the weather radar hourly so we don't get surprised. It takes about 10 minutes to get our farmhouse locked down for storms. 🌩🌪☂
You need like an ally drain. Also, I seen where this guy modified old tires to attach to the front of a little tractor and squeegee his cow barn for his milk farm. It was pretty cool.
well, this was an exciting vlog ! What a stress-filled day !! Glad it all turned out ok
Life is all about perspective. Change your perspective and you can change your life!!
You sure do a great job! Sheep are happy and content because of your hard work and dedication. PORT PERRY ONTARIO CANADA
Thanks Lis! I've got some friends in that area!
I'm so glad that the problem wasn't the roof--you just repaired it! And Kenzie must sleep really well--she's always in motion!
Kenzie looks like she had a blast, but probably smelled awful after playing in the manure water all day
@@mallorymyers7525 LOL
Your an inspiration to being a strong person no matter what’s thrown at you! You have a great family and family values.
Thanks Peggi!
OMG, Sandi. I felt so bad for you, having to deal with all that water and wind. You did an amazing job through it all. God Bless and stay safe. The world has gone nuts lately.
The sheep just wanted a water bed :) Seriously though, glad you guys came through the storm all right -- that sky was green and that usually means a funnel cloud isn't far behind.
It could have been so much worse!! Such an awesome family! Love you guys💕
Super glad no one died. Didn't cost much to clean up. I know you appreciate the nice setup and great equipment you have. Just another day of farming.
We got that storm as well. I live about 2 and a half hours away and it was crazy here. Also look at that pen cleaning skills
OH my word Sandi you are strong woman . You amaze me all the time with your ability to pull yourself up and get done what needs to be done. ..and you keep on smiling WOW😱😱😱😱
I love how much fun Kinsey looks like she’s having 😂
I am really glad everyone , all the sheep are ok
So REAL today. That is what I like. You are the hardest working lady I have ever seen.
You pour Girl, the rains are coming and pouring in. Hard working lady. God be with you honey.
Sandi, thank you so much for bringing us along. I felt what you felt and wished I could help. You are an awesome shepherdess and they are lucky to have you. OH...and remember that you were going to be feeding the sheep later in the day anyways for daytime lambing! You asked us to remind you...so I will be every other video... Hugs from Halifax
Just thought I would offer some friendly farmer to farmer advice. We have quite a few of the same waterers that you use and we put our plugs in from the inside of the waterer. It keeps the animals from being able to pull them out.
I'm just happy you all are ok!!!!! That tornado was a little too close to all of you!!! I hope Belinda's place is ok too. Take care. Be safe. Good luck with the rest of harvest!!! 😍😍
She’s good too! Went right in between our farms!
@@SandiBrock So thankful she's ok too!!!
Maybe need some floor drains, that can be covered when mucking out paddocks.
I think you're right!
@@SandiBrock could you just ad them around the water bowls? And perhaps on the side by the side curtains. So you can collect the water from your 2 most prone water sources..
What about cutting into the floor so the water runs outside and doesn’t pool in the barn in case it ever gets clogged again. Like a back up. Would that work. Thanks. Keep up the good work. I like and support what you’re doing. It gets more people involved with farming
@@gonzalezaaronm
I was thinking that might help too. I don't know how thick her floor is, but even a couple strip of double lines cut the width of of the cutting blade and about an inch deep would be helpful.
Sorry you had such a rough day. I watch your channel every day. You work so hard! Just know, you are one amazing lady! God bless you and your family! 🐑🐏 💚
Your animals are lucky to have you. You just hunker down and do the work..... sounds simple, but there is so much said in that little sentence. You do what needs to done. Every day, even on Sundays. You don’t take days off if your animals need you. They always come first. That’s the way it should be but it’s more and more rare these days. I’m sure around the water bowls Ruby and Goat are leading the conversations about how lucky they are to have you. How much they appreciate you and how much they love you. Great job. Thank you for being that rare gem that puts their animals first!!
Sandi, love to see you smile even when things don't go as planned. Because as we know we can't change it and complaining doesn't fix it.
I have said before you and your family are the best.
Tornadoes are scary, been there a couple of times when visiting Florida.
Stay safe hope for a great harvest. 🌾🌾🐑🐑
You are amazing! You have such care and love for your sheep. Wow! Your job is never easy.
You are my wonder women!! I can't believe all you do with no help. Keep smiling!!!
What a Gong show!! You're right though..the view from the top is best. You did great keeping up!
It was a wicked blast of a storm. Half our maple tree came down on our fence. Luckily we had no damage. I'm glad we aren't the only family that goes for after storm tours haha
We always do too!
I know in the BC people did that to see if everyone was OK or if someone needed help.
Oh my stars! Nothing more to do but roll up your sleeves and dig in! At least *knock on wood* harvest is going well. Little Holstein can really jump! Good luck this week, looks like much needed rain.🐑🌾💖
It really was needed!
OMG 😳 Sandi, I really feel for you... I wanted to cry for you....And that rain sounded so good 🥰 I love when it rains like that... That rain will do the garden a lot of good... You are amazing! Sending y’all blessings and love from Pennsylvania USA 🇺🇸🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼
That’s true! We needed the rain!!!
Sadi you are such a hard worker! An inspiration to us all. God bless you.
YOU WORK SO HARD,I DONT KNOW HOW YOU DO THIS ALL BY YOURSELF,,,,,,,,,,,AND DO SUCH A GOOD JOB. GOD BLESS YOU.
Oh man!! This is when I want to be your neighbor and roll up my sleeves and come help out!! If only I could come through the screen I would be there! You got it done, though! 💪You are strong of body and soul! Love your "perspective" at the end!! Bless your heart! xo
I always watching your heart touching videos, really you are most powerful personality, 👍🏽 keep it up,
I know this was a couple years ago, but I'm watching how you handle that bobcat, and I am so impressed!!! You're awesome!!
Thanks for another video Sandy God bless you glad your family safe and your farm
Thanks Jonathon!
I have so much respect for you. You are so dedicated to your sheep and work so hard....🥰
Sorry for all your hard work Lady Bobcat..and very thankful the tornado missed you 👍🏼💕
Sandy lots of blessings! I’m sure that due to the efforts and even double work and actions taken due to the unexpected difficulties, that is exactly what will show the stamina for success. Shall you have lots of courage, strength to overcome the vicissitudes that seasons bring upon us.
Sandi they make a pan cake alarm system , talk to an electrician , it may be hooked to your phone or computer when water hits it , it sends a message alarm , they do make them for a house hold area , under the sink , by hot water heater also , only an idea ! Stay safe ! Bob
Only GOD give you the power to keep ALL together. Praying for you Sandy
I am happy to see the tornado went on by. You are amazing and the lambs were very chill like nothing happened.
So glad you are all safe and that you did not have any damage. Be strong Sandi!
sorry for the storm..
glad you weren't hurt. I am sure the animals love what you do for them.
Impressive to see you gather everything up on the bobcat! You've done a very neat clean job! The water in there was alot... you make you're job look easy by speeding up making you work faster! I know it's nothing like that. I used to have horses and they are hard work. Today at work I got to use the floor buffer in the primary school where I work! And if I had videoed when I had my training with it I'd get nothing but laughs and giggles.... The faces I pulled trying to concentrate and control the thing was hilarious 😂🤣 gotta say after that my supervisor loves me for it! 🤣🤣 Have a nice day 🤗❤️💕
Thanks so much!
I’ve been sitting on CZcams waiting for this video today. Just watched Jess’s vlog. I love your family!

Just Subbed and smashed the Bell 🥳 !!!!@@SandiBrock
@@SandiBrock Thank you Sandi...subbed and hit the bell
Oh Sandi, bless your heart.😢 I’m so sorry. But so grateful that there wasn’t a tornado that tore up anything. Hope the crops are ok. Tomorrow will be a better day.🥰
Glad the storm didn't do too much damage. You're lucky that you are strong and healthy. Hope you sleep well 😴
I was holding my breath when it started storming and the rain was blowing in. Thankful the tornado didn't hit your farm
So glad for everyone's safety! Never a dull moment. Hugs. God bless.🤗❤
Enjoying your videos.
There's never a dull moment on the land and the work will always always be there. 👍👍
I agree with comments about yr dog. He's adorable and works so hard
Wow that was so much rain coming in but so glad it was not as bad as it could have been.
I love when she says “to much tractor time” as she goes on a tractor in the next clip of the video
When we flood we use an 8x4 sheet of plywood to push large amounts of water before using a squeegee to finish off. It might help in that aisle. So pleased you are still smiling!!!
Lol the cow sound was sooo cute. Lol he is so neat looking. Blessings to you all
When we lived in Oklahoma I had a doctor that would go out chasing the storms. NO THANK YOU! I’m happy you guys didn’t suffer any damage other than a wet stahl that day. Holstein was cute “kickin’ up his heels”
I was working at a greenhouse when this storm hit us. Nothing scarier than a tornado warning while in a glass building. The greenhouse didn't have time to close the roof in time so we got waterfalls in the greenhouse :O
You are a very strong hearted woman. Kudos to you. And Mark also
Yes Sandi, you do get a HELLUVA lot done! I'm happy you found your spot in the barn to appreciate that on occaision :)
Also heard while watching: "But that truck isn't an indoors truck!" ...Realizing just how big that barn is.
On the plus side: The next clean up will be just a smidgen quicker!
Also, Lookin' COOL MOMMA!
Omg! More flooding ? NO! You just did this! Was I the only one thinking of floor drains , maybe with a pump, an industrial vacuum that sucks up water, a new water drinking system, and if this curtains could have just gone up faster? Omg! I was saying Oh No through most of this video! I’m so glad that the tornado missed you guys- that would have been too much! And Sandi you find your happy place 40 feet up on top of a silo? That would have killed me, lol. To each his own. I hope you had a good cup of coffee after that one. So glad everyone is ok and now we know for sure who has the cleanest sheep barn around! ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍🐑🐑🐑💦⛈🌧🌪
That storm - wow! Since the feed cart is narrow enough to go down the side alleys maybe something with a squeegee blade could be rigged to it, removable, of course.
Your a good mom Mrs Brock!
Taking care of all those babies😊
It still throws me for a second when you talk about hydro. Living in Virginia it's always electricity. Crazy storm. Glad y'all didn't get tornado or downburst.
Those storm clouds looked menacing...glad you guys were ok.
Thank goodness you have that nice big machine that can clean up quickly
