- W6/SC-212 was a fantastic summit to try gear I built. Used my 15, 17 and 20M linked dipole along with my kit built QMX high band CW QRP RIg. Apologies for the lost video footage on 15 and 17M. One of those days when you think you hit the record button. Hope you all enjoy the episode and the spectacular cloud footage.

Very beautiful background ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Hey, this is a great radio. I bought one because I didn't trust myself to build it. I am a new subscriber. The clouds were nice, but I would rather just see you operating the radio. Thanks for sharing the activation. All the best, and 73s via W3CT.
Welcome and thanks for the sub!!! TNX for the suggestions and support .
Nice!! My first kit that I built in my life was a QCX mini 20 meters a few miles ago. Love the sky!!!!!!!
Same for me as well. This was my first kit build and so glad I had a resource from a LICW CW Makers presentation to guide me through a SMP power board issue. The skies in SoCal are incredible.
Nice job on the QMX! It is working great! You are going to twist my arm and force me to build one LOL. 73, Patrick KF4LMZ
It is a great QRP radio!!! The cw sidetone is by far the best I have heard to date with the QRP rigs I own.
most awesome
Great job! Now I really hope I can get mine working!
Thanks Jason!!! Let me know when you finish up your kit build.
Nice activation, the QMX is a great QRP radio, I have a low band version, 73
TNX for watching. This radio packs a punch for SOTA/POTA QRP operations. Im hoping Hans is able to release a 40, 20, 17 and 15M version.

Probably you know, there's unofficial guide about building MID band QMX based on HI band version. You can find this guide on groups qrp-lab.
💯💥👍 . . .
TNX fer watching!
Hi, how is this qmx? I am thinking about getting one for myself as a cw tranciver, right now i have several chinese qrp trancivers, and they actualy works good for cw, but i still want one of these if they are good, i hope the ssb update comes soon also. Best regards from Norway
Hi Tamlin, yes the QMX is a great qrp radio , especially for the price. I built the 20-10m kit. FYI it is small and definitely requires lots of patience to build. I have used the qmx for 3 SOTA summits and so far I’m impressed and for a small radio it packs a punch.
@@dugbohamradio i must order a built one since i cant see that well anymore, thank you for the answer. :)
@@Tamlin73 I built Rev 1 and Hans QRB LABs is on REV 3 . Rev 1 required modification of adding a jumper and diode . Those problems have been resolved with the new Rev 3 pcb board . Good luck , let me know how it goes .
i've been in the Quay for about a month and a half for a built low band QMX. They just released firmware version 4 ,so that's the one i think i should be getting some time in mid july if the averages of the daily build numbers hold true?Am currently working on the QRP ZM-2 Tuner so i'll be ready to go. Thinking about activating MT. washington NH some time in late august. 73' jim KB1PFL
Good to hear that yours will arrive just in time for summer months. Hopefully the Queue holds true. I am so impressed with this qrp rig Iam ordering the 60-15M kit. I’m in the middle of building the Pentek TR-35. Nice , Mount Washington, that will be incredible summit to activate!
I'm going to start building my QMX kit soon too. And I will also go to the mountains with it. 73 de Archie EXØQKT
QMX is a fantastic qrp radio. I’m so impressed how well the radio RX and TX . Good luck on the build !
@@dugbohamradio Tnx OM Dugbo!
