Centurion Mago of the World Eaters is a great example of a loyalitst in a traitor legion. He stood up to Angron and refused to carry out a decimation after not conquering Gehenna under 31 hours. He sought one of the OG War Hounds, who was now a dreadnought, for counsel when he began to see what has become of the War Hounds. Then, when they tried to issue the butcher nails to the entire legion, he stage a coup, but not before pleading to Angron and Kharn before doing so. Sadly the coup failed and he died, but not before telling the World Eaters that they are damned.

It's because it's fun to see legions that are traditionally only seen for their vices getting to show off their virtues.

"What brought you so low Brother? Did the iron in your skull finally refashion your loyalty into madness?"
"Hnngh. It lets me dream. It gives me peace. What would you know of struggle, Empathetic Son? Hnh? When have you fought against the exploitation of your mind? When have you had to do anything more than train soldiers and polish your armor?"
    "Childish,"
Angron sighed, gesturing to the burning, dying city.
"Does it really come down to this? So pitiably childish."
"Childish?! The people of your world named you Champion. The people of mine called me Slave!" Perturabo stepped back, chainspear revving harder.
"Wich one of us created a spartan civilisation in memory of a foster father Angron? Wich one of us was given armies to lead after training in the arenas of the Nucerian gladiators? Wich one of us inherited a strong, stoic kingdom?"
Perturabo sprayed bloody spit as he frothed the words.
"And wich of us had to fight for a tiranny with nothing but a horde of armored slaves? Wich one of us was a child enslaved on a world of monsters, with his mind cut open by wicked lies?"
The two Primarchs met again. Angron's powered chainaxes should have easily deflected Perturabo's chainspear, but the Iron Warriors's strenght drove his Brother back step by step. Chain-teeth sprayed from the weapons as eagerly as the saliva coming from Perturabo's lipless slit of a mouth.
"Listen to your red-clad wretches yelling of courage and honour... Courage and Honour. Do you even know meaning of those words? Courage is fighting the tyranny that enslaves you, no matter that their armies overshadowed yours by ten-thousand to one. You know nothing of courage. Honour is restraining a tyrant when all others suckle and grow fat on the hypocrisy he feeds them. You...know nothing of honour..."
