The rosary is a great source of comfort and security for grandma, especially in her twilight years...thank you Chris for always being there to make sure her prayers keep her going. Before you and grandma had chooseday, I had thought of that word, too, when I felt down just to tell myself this is a 'chooseday'...one where I decide to press on despite all my challenging days. Now, every time I pray my rosary on a Tuesday, I smile and think of you both saying "Chooseday"! 😊💗😇
You're so wise. Lip gloss (chapstick ) helps if you mouth breathe not to get chap lips. In touch with part of her womanhood, primping, girly stuff. 😍 Women are Women no matter how old we are 😉

I can't begin to say how jealous I am of you. I still wish I had my grandparents to care for. However, I live vicariously through you. Kids can learn so much from their grandparents. People always asked me if it bothered me to take care of them. My answer was always no, it is an honor. I love and respect the bond you have so very much. Thank you for doing what you do!
My mom who passed away at the age of 102 had the same routine as your grandma, praying the rosary many times a day and reading her novenas before bed. She would also turn on the TV daily to watch the online masses. And guess what? Her biggest pet peeve was her feeling the folds of her house dress when lying down. To solve her being so picky/OCD, my sister improvised her house outfits just like those hospital gowns. It was also easier for us and the care taker when it was time to change her. Filipinos take care of our elders and our Mom was well taken cared of (spoiled) by us and her grandchildren. She would have been 105. Her b day just passed.

The smell of Fritos is due to benign bacteria on the skin. Where I live summers are crazy hot and as I get older I notice my T shirts and bath towel smell like Fritos in summer.

I love how much tender loving care he shows his Grandma. I’m glad he realized that pulling her shirt down after he put her in bed. It’s a small gesture but it really improves her comfort as she lays in bed.

I took care of my MOM and a lk ways m.j made sure Her pajama top was pulled down but dont forget the pajama pants being pulled down so not to crunch up around thighs, groin ❤

I was born with a condition which Ed caused me to have surgery on the back of my head and my spinal cord. It slowed down my paralysis, but it’s hard for me to walk just ten feet. I live with my daughter (her choice) and my son. Thank God for family. If it were not for my children I don’t know where I’d be. God bless you

@@Laura-lr3sz thank you for your kind words. I was strict but also very loving. I believe in using ma’am and sir, respecting your elders and letting them know how much they meant to me. I worked so hard on my job to show them nothing is free. They each have great paying jobs and 2 go to college, one getting their masters. I’m so proud and very blessed. ❤️❤️❤️

😂 "right on" my grandma use to mimic me say that and give me a thumbs up. After a while she didnt have the strength to talk but i knew what that 😉👍 meant. Youre doing a great thing. I know shes very vical about her appreciation but make sure you take it in. Its hard not to be shelfish these days
My Mom JUST died on 9/21/23 and this was a very similar routine that we had. I wish I could go back in time and record it so I could have it to watch over and over again. Thank you for caring for your grandma. ❤

The love you to share is unlike any other. You cherish her and that is so refreshing to see. This Christmas will make it 14 yrs that she left this earth to finally dance with our Lord and Savior.
