We love watching her reaction, as well! I used to scoop up a cup full of snow and take it into the nursing home for my Mom to touch and look at. She had dementia and was mesmerized by the simplest of common ordinary things. ❤

I'm so glad you have something to "reward" yourself. My mom never would when we took care of my grandma. She does get nicer things now though. You should always remember your enjoyment matters through all this.

I absolutely LOVE watching you and your Grandma... I cared for my mom but she had developed very mean/paranoid dementia... until a massive stroke. She became her "old" self but was totally debilitated physically.... You help being back the good memories.
