Hearing Avi sing here just warms my heart all these years since he left the group
When you hear them live you realise how much their studio record are just pure them. No auto tuning. It's incredible

I remember when they sang this back in 2015 in Jakarta, they literally put their mic down, the audience were so calm listening to them, and you can literally hear them clearly, how beautiful their voices are... i was in tears especially when i hear avi's deep voice...

It's a year later, and I notice that many choral groups have started including this song into their repertoire, which is wonderful. It's a gift to the wider public, a gift to the culture and the wider world. They should be very proud.

Donnah, To bad he's no longer in the group. I hate when 1 member (of any group), thinks he's a star over the others in the group and his head becomes so big, that they think they can go out on their own and leave the ones that made him..behind. It was a collective group, not just 1 or the other..it was all, the perfect combination.
It's rare when 1 leaves and it was for the good..like Michael Jackson, he left the Jackson 5, and became bigger.
Will not happen for Avi. Sad, cause I loved his sexy voice.

@@Dhonn14 Yes, he left to do a solo career, sort of. He is the main title name, but he is not alone and he gives the back up singers no credit. He gets the credit alone. He has a wonderful voice, but I am afraid for me he has lost. He lost friends to seek his riches alone. He didn't like sharing the acknowledgment or fame with others. YES, they left amicably, but it was not by their choice meaning Pentatonix. The 1 they found to replace him, is just as good, if not better. You wonder, then wonder no more and check him out on google/youtube (Avi Kaplan). Yes he has a sexy voice, but not as sexy when he's doing for fame/money and forget about who got him there. He lost my respect, voice or no voice and as he steps on the backs of his backup singers, musicians. Sad really. Shows how Standup people they are (Pentatonix, prayers & blessings).
