How to determine how many fossa each tooth have? Im struggling finding anything online. Do you have an answer or a way to figure it out :))))?
Each tooth is unique with the number of fossa, there is not a specific pattern. Though they due tend to increase in number from anterior to posterior.
Incisors have 1 fossa
Canines have 2 fossa
Premolars have 2-3 fossa
Molars have 3+
I recommend using your lecture/text book and making yourself a chart based on the lingual view of anterior teeth and the occlusal view of posterior teeth.
