I have been staring at the pan trying to memorize for hours for my exam and this video did more for me in 11 minutes than all that time studying. MUCH appreciated!!
I come to this video specifically when I want to review anatomy on radiographs, in such a simple and fun way. Definitely added to my revision playlist! Really can't thank you enough Dr.clara. :)))))
That is a great idea for content, maybe I will start making educational shorts on such topics 🤷♀ Currently focusing on dental anatomy videos but excited to branch out soon when I finish molar anatomy 💕🦷
Omg. why didn't your video pop up sooner when I have my panoramic interpretation. It will still help me for the upcoming final thou. Great video. :))))
YAY! I am glad the addition of the skull in the corner helped you. I had trouble remembering the landmarks until I started relating them to the physical structures on the skull too. 💕💀
So the vertebrae, the airway (trachea I’m guessing) -- show up on the right and left of the panoramic right?? They show up as two images, one on each side? That is anything in the midline of the patient, will show on the sides of the panoramic film right??
Yes… the vertebrae and airway (palatoglossal air space, nasopharyngeal air space, and glossopharyngeal air space) show up on the right and left as 2 images of the same anatomical structure. I would be careful about thinking that “anything in the midline will show on sides” because that is not quite true… the nose 👃 is in the midline anatomically but actually shows on the midline of the image. The ears 👂 (external auditory meatus) are not in the midline anatomically but shows an the sides of the image.
@@dentalclarafication darn!.. I appreciate the honesty. Been having some symptoms since I let this decayed tooth (with no pain) be for too long. Got the RCT but symptoms persist. Now im being told there is still infection and other dentist says theres not. Now im stuck not knowing if i should extract it or not. (My gut feeling says my oral symptoms are coming from it, but would be a waste of a perfectly good crown if I'm wrong)
This is the only video I have on X-rays right now 📸🦷 Check out the channel “mental dental” they have a radiology playlist You could also check out my Instagram… I have some content on radiographs planned for this month 💕🦷

Hi Dr question. If the premolar would to have a infection can it possibly spread n affect the mental nerve thus cause symptoms?
I cannot speak on this knowledgeably sorry and have never seen this happen… but I don’t think it is outside the realm of possibility
