Those were beautiful guitars. I got the first edition back in 2004 or so when they first came out, they were nowhere near as nice as the 2nd edition. I still might pick one of those up at some point!
@@DoesItDoom the first Iommi signature model by Gibson black SG with the cross fret inlays. Not the Epiphone one is the best one they made. They're pretty rare and stupid expensive when found. He also played Jaydee guitars
Funny how signature/replica guitars for lefties are always made for right handeders but getting a lefty signature guitar of a right handed player is almost non existent.
They only did the Monkey stickers exactly how they were, so they don’t orient correctly on a right handed guitar. This one is sitting where the original owner stuck it. lol.
A beautiful but very expensive Gibson guitar. 50 right handed /50 left handed versions(maybe I know number was very limited) High end replica of a Doom Metal machine
NIGEL in Canada🇨🇦 8 ohm pickups are too bright I prefer 5 ohm Fender style single coils or you guys can fight with your GIBSONs to get a good sound why ? I'll never understand

I picked one up back in October that was a scratch and dent. Couldn’t pass up the deal. It’s a great guitar and I love the way that plays and sounds.

I love everything about this except the sticker 😅 but that’s just my personal preference
I notice on the Gibson and Epiphone that the chamfering is inconsistent. Your example is good (aggressive), but on mine it isn’t quite as acute.
Yeah. Always prefer to buy SG’s used so you can get the beveling you want. I looked for one with a dark fretboard and deep bevels.

I bought the Chibson Black Iommi signature on an impulse since it had 24 frets. Got Les Paul Axcess pickups for it and Shaler tuners.

Not very good those P90s too much microphonic feedback , Hence why Iommi switched to Humbuckers in his SGs
