The Commons was diverse a week before the election was called and ten years or more before that. Is he trying to take credit for it? What he certainly can't take credit for is being Prime Minister and being at the helm of a Labour Party actually in power: that is entirely down to how poorly the Tories ended up governing and how Reform UK took a lot of the Conservative vote at the election.
