- Join me on my logging adventure in Norway on the farm. we have about 80 hectares of Norway spruce, and alot of it is the age of forrestry!
This is only episode two of who knows how many we will need to finish this project, as i am mostly alone!

If your 2-1 file takes to much of the rakers, try tightening the chain really good.. It helps.. I also takes the flat file out of the 2-1 every second time i file, but then I still have the right angle..
But one thing about the 2-1 is that it can be a bit "shallow" og high on the tooth, so you don't get the really nice "C" curve on the thooth..
Yes, that was not a bad idea! And you are also correct about the curve not being perfect.
It is a really good device, just seem to like "blind filing" better 🤔
I switch up "blind filing" / 2-1 with flatfile / 2-1 without flatfile.. But for a non-experienced person I think the 2-1 is a very good tool. And it will probably help them to be able to "blind file" eventually.
Good job felling friend ! Not big but tall & straight, good for log home building, What kind of trees , Do they just call it Norway spruce ?, Man a lot of dry firewood there too :)
Very true, seems as when they planted it was 1x1 distance, which gives these results. We call them "normal Norwegian spruce" in Norway, but it is the same yes. A few people who wanted me to take the dry spruce for firewood as well, which i probably will ;)
Litt misunnelig på mengden snø dere har, her har vi fortsatt 1m. Men med spor, og kvistunderlag så går det overraskende greit å felle litt🤞
Eg har alltid syntes at snøen gir optimalt føre for hogst 🤚🏼
