I spend a lot of time out falling timber alone, it gets pretty boring... but I do get a lot more work done working solo. Great vid, really enjoy watching how you folks operate, bit differed down here in Aus.
Working alone sucks. Keeping the mind motivated is not an easy task. If you have a Sena or something like it on your helmet, listening to music helps. I'd love to come visit and do some felling with ya brother!

Have you used the sthil hexa? chain I use it a lot but I mostly use it when doing new growth thinning. Guilty should start paying you for all the sappy supplies promotions.

I've had my bars stuck in quite a few trees over the years, made a real mess of getting the bars out too lol, you did fine.
An option Stihl is investing in 2027 is e fuels so if you have a gas chainsaw that works it is e fuel ready

For delimbing I use a stilh msa 200 wtih ap 300 s battery. Don't know how much it wieghs thogh.

Fin film, 064 var rå 💪🏻😊 litt off topic : Hva sliter du med panthersverdet på t540`n? Jeg kjøpte meg speedcut nano til 540`n, noe erfaring med det settet?
Panther sverdet er vel lagd spesielt for kutting av greiner, den er veldig god når du klatrer som f.eks tynning i tre. Speedcut nano er nok av bedre kvalitet trur eg, i forhold vertfall. Panther sverd er visst og kjend for korte levetid 🤔

Nice to see you back online Sondre. Electric is a nice option if you're close to charging services. I can not imagine myself packing 10 or more batteries when I go deep in the forest for 2-3 days straight. 🇨🇦

I have this saw for over one year, great powerful saw but feel like a Mustang GT with gas tank in the reserve, the AP500S battery isn't up to the saw for professional use. Cutting oak about 20" diameter 11 cuts and the AP500S battery is out of charge, for a day work out in the forest with need a truck load of batteries.
Thanks for the good and honest review of the Msa 😊 The 261 is around 6kg with bar/chain and gas, so quite a difference.

Excellent video and a job well done threading the needle with those drops ! I became a fan when Guilty of Treeson came over and worked with you. I recognized the spot where you both did some logging. 30 years in the tree business and seeing some timber fall never gets old. 😂 And a video with old fashioned logging would be totally cool .Stay safe son !🙂👍🙏

I’m a farmer in Illinois and do most of my cutting in the winter. I have an older new holland with no cab, but mostly I use a caterpillar MT545D (Agco with a Fendt CVT) with a front end loader with a thumb. I saw the first vid Jakob did with you. What’s the temp when you are in the trees in this video?
Way cool using New Holland, which series is it? In this video we had somewhat -15C° (5 degrees Fahrenheit)

The one bad thing about those " bark boxes" that I cant understand hasn't been fixed yet is the burning on the inside of chain break they do. Id just tack a simple deflector plate alongside the muffler. Other then that cool saw
