Some people think the scene where Neytiri’s ikran die’s isn’t that emotional or isn’t difficult for her, the bond they make literally bonds there emotions and there souls to the creature, it’s difficult because that ikran was not just an animal to her it was a companion and friend she could count on, the Omaticya people bond with the animals and forests of pandora, I personally believe that the bond was spectacular to see and I was also so upset when Seze died, she was a beautiful ikran and very strong
Exactly, basically people who hate the avatar franchise are those without emotions or people that are compationless, because the movie is all about caring the planet, the environment and the importante Of taking care about what we have
Being one of the gunners tasked with defending the payload on the back bay of the command ship would be insane. Imagine being in their shoes: Fighting off a swarm of pterodactyls and then all of a sudden, some 12’ blue humanoid creature with a bow and arrow jumps onto your ship and literally tosses all your buddies around like they’re chihuahuas.
This is actually the theatrical release. In the extended release, there is a scene where Tsu'tey falling down to the ground badly injured (though would later die in the final scene)
Literally yeah in the first movie the humans actually won the battle till the planet woke up or whatever. In the second movie I think the humans killed only 1 avatar, with the aircraft being completely useless and going down immediately anyways in the final battle
To be fair the first movie was a fully prepped and armed human Mercenary force while the second was retrofitted whaling ship they attached some turrets too that was manned by lightly armed sailors. They had no Gunships or AMP suits and only 2 helicopters. Still it was an anticlimactic battle compared to the first although I liked the final showdown between the main characters better
@@disillusionedrightest7313 yeah, especially when most of the force in the first film got permanently damaged and their leader was killed for like 10+ years. they went from 100% to then starting all over again in the 2nd one.
@@Cmmdre977 I mean even before the planet woke it was still hard for the humans. I mean they were taking causalities left and right too, and when they realized their right moves, they used every single bit of their energy to kill the navi. and then that's when the planet woke. so, I guess they just underestimated the navi.
2:00 if Tsu'tey had swung his bow one more time instead of putting it aside to draw his knife for the last soldier he might have taken out the whole squad, don't know what he could have done from there.
Humans: Hey guys, can we mine your resources as long as you stay out? Na'Vi: No. Humans: But we won't destroy your tree. We just plan to mine the resources underneath it. Yeah...I know we're supposed to be on the side of the Na'vi because they're treehuggers - and in general I am pro environmentalism. But really these days I tend to want the humans to have won this conflict. They don't go into a ton of detail, but a few offhand mentions do make it sound like the humans originally tried really hard to work with the Na'vi peacefully, and it's the Na'vi that have been hostile the whole time. I suppose to be fair it is their planet and humans are intruding, but still.
so if you own a house and your neighbor finds out that there is gold underneath your house. You don't want the gold because that is what your house stands on and your family has been living in that house for centuries and you would have to drastically change everything if you wanted to mine the gold. Lets just assume your house is for you of way much more worth than the gold. So you dont want to change anything, you would not trade your house for anything. Is it ok for your neighbor to burn down your house with your family still inside to get the gold for himself if you don't accept his offer of a lot of money?
@@felice98 if aliens landed in my front yard and wanted something under my house because their planet was dying sure I would give it to them in exchange for friendship and a couple of spaceships..... And a lightsaber
@@HERO-xc8bq You changed my thought experiment from humans to other aliens, but that doesn't quite work here, because in the movie humans are the aliens. So it is about our value system, what are we allowed to do as a human race to enrich ourselves. So I think the example with the neighbor fits way better than your alien example. @@HERO-xc8bq Your home is material to you. The Na'vi are so connected to the world around them any kind of destruction is horrible. It is more Akin to aliens wanting to kill your dog or your family to enrich themselves.
Talking about Trudy, why she didn't use the misiles to destroy home tree against Quaricth? I mean she was the only human pilot fighting on the Na'vi's side. She could surprised them by infiltrating with the rest of the scorpions helicopters, and bum! Destroy them with a rain of bullets and misiles
@@Thekidloquendero9745 Trudy's scorpion is identical to the others. Friendly fire would've been inevitable had this happened - which is why her's is painted blue. the way Neytiri was bound for revenge is, during the bond u feel each others pain. and zeeze probably died while being in bond with neytiri.
