[Miyako]
Lost In The Garden" was inspired by "La Campanella" by Liszt.
Also, the chords of the B-melody are based on the so-called B-melody part of "La Campanella," and the scale was also made to look like that.
The piano melody behind Miyako's guitar solo is "La Campanella," which Miyako frantically recorded.
La Campanella" is a very difficult piece to play on the piano.

A part time pianist playing La Campanella (or to be honest almost anything at all by Franz Liszt) that good is crazy. It is far from perfect of course but still. I've seen concert pianists struggling playing Liszt...
Franz Liszt's "La Campanella" is considered by many professional classical musicians to be one of the hardest piano pieces to play.
It's hard especially if you have small hands but according to some professional pianists, it's definitely far from being one of the hardest pieces to play.
You still need a lot of skills and years of practice to get the right tone/touch though.
@@Mikupigeon I guess it depends on who you ask. For example, Classic FM in the UK voted "La Campanella" to be the hardest piano piece ever to play. The relentless sixteenth note/octave jumps with the right hand was cited as a reason for them to vote as such. Of course, different musicians have voted other works to be more difficult.
@@boyzyu First of all, let me begin by saying that my piano skill is nowhere good enough to play this piece properly, I know it's VERY hard to master and get the right tone and touch, so I am not shitting on this song.
Different polls can have different results and different musicians see songs differently. If you go to different piano forums and ask people who can literally play this song, you can often see answers like yes, it is indeed a very challenging song but there are many songs that are even harder, it's not even the hardest Liszt's composition.
Anyway, I like this song, so it doesn't matter much.
And She is playing the hard version where, in first section, the right hand part is more sharp than the left hand!

I'm not sure but according to my memory, I think her piano teacher told Miyako "It is too early for you", better translation is "You are not yet ready for that", but I may be confused.
Miyako tried her best, but she wasn't good at it. I think she must have practiced it well as an intro to a heavy metal rock song. She also has to practice playing the guitar.

A literal translation of Miyako's Japanese subtitles is, "If I remember correctly, I remember the teacher saying, 'It's still too early for you.'"
In other words, "You are not ready yet."
There were no Japanese subtitles for "I tried it once when I was a student" and "so I gave up trying to play it."

As you already know, all these songs are great, they have no bad, weak or meh songs, and no fillers at all. Every song is special, you could randomly select a song, best life, of course, and LOVEBITES won't disappoint you. They play many different Heavy Metal styles with a certain LOVEBITES sound, they revive the masters of the 80's (and 90's) in a fresh and modern way.
LOVEBITES may have the most talented musicians around, all of them S tier. Drummer Haruna is relentless like a metronome, both Miho and Fami master their bass (for Fami's capabilities, you should visit "Alien Alien" from my list, it's in her CZcams channel will almost 700K subscribers), the dual guitars M&M (for Midori and Miyako) is most certainly the best duo for trading guitar solos and harmonizing, and Asami's voice is stellar with big range, powerful belt and good vibrato. She is also a trained ballerina with exceptional stage presence. One reactor caller her "Stage General", which is perfectly put. Hard, tight, fast, relentless, effortless and clean, that's LOVEBITES. Fasten your seat belt and enjoy your ride!

La Campanella is really not an easy song to play well, although I can't say she quite nailed it both technically and emotionally but I must give credit to her as a metal guitarist for bravely picking this song and perform it live in front of an big audience. Besides, I remember someone saying that she started learning this song seriously not long ago, I always appreciate musicians who are willing to take risks and go beyond their comfort zone, I look forward to seeing her perform it again in few years time.
Miyako posted a video to her channel last year as she was just starting to learn this Liszt piece. It's *very* difficult to play at the proper tempo.
Yes, I remember watching it - I loved that she had no problem to show herself struggling and having a hard time to learn it. Some people thinks she's arrogant because of her stoïc behaviour on stage but she's actually humble and dedicated.
3:38 3:49 Below the Lovebites banner, musical excellence is performed. All Wolfpack salute to these Mistresses. 😁 This obviously is one of their many masterpieces. Outstandingly complex, and demanding all attention and skills they can possibly give. Any single mistake could crush it all, in view of the high pace they set. Haruna performs her highly appreciated "clockwork" like a fine-tuned athlete. Many less-skilled drummers would surely like to have four hands and legs.
By the way: Whoever thinks, that this performance is demanding: Watch the official music video "The Legacy Within" from the Japanese band "Chaos Control", with ex-Lovebites bass player Miho.

This is a really difficult piano piece and often played in piano competitions. Miyako only plays a short section. The entire piece is over 5 minutes.
As to 2:23, I assume the piano teacher recognized Miyako's overwhelming talent and wanted her to work even harder.
