Yes, Miho was the first bassist of Lovebites and co-founder together with Haruna of Lovebites. She was and is a fantastic bass player!
It's always impressive to me what a shy woman Haruna is - such an impressively great world-class drummer. I often get the thought that she wants to hide behind the big drum kit - well, Haruna, you stand out behind the wall of the drum kit - you're just so impressively great as a drummer!
Damn right she knows her gear. Miyako is a true gear nerd. On her own channel she has several clips of her geeking out over her gear. She modifies everything to get just the tone she wants.
Miho ex_bassist has collection of about 500 metal T_shirts.💜

Miyako probably is the most influential female guitarist in Japan she made her own signature gear like :
1. Dean Miyako signature V
2. Orange Crush 20 MYK signature
3. Lunastone overdrive 2 MYK signature
Miyako now plays 7 or 8 different guitars at their concerts. Beside her 3 Deans also Gibson and others. And the keyboard now is an electric grand piano. The Orange now is white and Miyako branded. And in addition to the Peavey she also has a Diezel. And also new stuff on the pedal board. The design of her guitar picks changes every year.
And you can also buy some of her stuff, but most of it is limited: guitar picks, a smaller version of her Miyako Orange, her Dean signature Flying V, …
About her Dean signature V, since Dean lost the trademark infringement lawsuit with Gibson, Dean cannot make her signature guitar anymore. There are a few Korean versions still being sold but when they're gone they're gone. Michael Schenker who was a big Dean player just left for Gibson because Dean couldn't produce his guitar either. I have a feeling that Miyako won't be with them much longer.

The reason she went to Dean was because of the ML and one of her fav guitar players was Dimebag.
I found out from playing with nylon tip drumsticks. They break too easily, that's why I love using wood tips.
Miyako is essentially a tech geek. You'll find a lot more of her tech vlogs in her official YT channel. She's also a virtuoso on BOTH the guitar and piano/keyboards. Yes, this is the previous bassist Miho who left the band in 2021. Great reaction !

Not only does she play them at the same time, she is harmonizing on keyboard with Midori's guitar solo. That's what makes it impressive
the ladies know their gear. especially Miyako can be called a guitarnerd with very fine ears. I can see, how fami has brought new energy to the band and I love her playing a lot. but I also love mihos playing and I miss her. great reaction guys,

I found it strange that you weren't aware that Miyako also plays piano (as well as drums & bass). So please react to the live video of 'Swan Song' with the Chopin Etude intro, and the Rachmaninov outro. She is a concert level pianist.
Another great track is her piano solo of 'Helloween's Eagle Fly Free. Simply stunning. Especially if you watch their cover of it from the 'Live At The Abyss' stream.

@@ingopek5485 Haruna has been thinking about the band a lot since around 2020 and 2021, when Miho started thinking about quitting.
She always stood between Miyako and Miho (as you can easily see by looking at photos and videos from around this time) and tried to prevent any major rift in their relationship. Haruna was most worried that if Miho and Miyako said they were quitting, LB would end. Haruna saved LB.

It wasn't shown here, but Haruna (the drummer) uses Pearl Eliminator Redline Chain Drive Bass Drum Pedals which are the same pedals I use. They are great pedals. Balanced, fluid and fast with great attack and rebound and infinitely adjustable to fit your playing style. Lovebites is an absolutely AMAZING band and they are all world class players. Miyako is a virtuoso concert pianist as well as an incredible guitarist. 👍

Now, in 2024, Miyako has her own LUNASTONE 2 OVERDRIVE with MYK / LOVEBITES imprinted on it. Sold since January 16th...
Miyako has been playing that same overdrive pedal since 2018. I met her at NAMM 2018 and she was doing demos with that pedal. Lunastone took the same exact pedal she was using and put her name/logo on it.
