The Buddhist asked about the question that firstly, why he was formed .i.e. his first past life. As we know Sadhguru has deeper perception of life, he just went to straight to the reason of question as to why creation happened .i.e. before creation, what was there. There was nothingness (called as Shiva) but as energy (Shakti) entered, vibration happened. So caused quarks, protons, electrons, nuetrons.... Creation happened.

They have explained giving an example of LCD display .. There is a single energy ( electticity ) emitting through numerous diodes or bulbs ..
In the same way .. one sun .. in each reflection it looks separate ..
But in each mirror , it is looking separate but .. it is one sun in the sky .
In same way we are looking separate but .. at a deep samadhi state .. we are made up of same conciousness ..
We are one at level of existance .ie. sachhidanand vigraha .. truth , pure consciousness and bliss .
Just looking separated but ..actually its a play .. thats why i am comleting you with me by my answer .. but actually it should be a profound experiece that will experienced by vipasana ,etc ..

This question is asked by who, our 'EGO MIND' in reality there is actually 'NO BIRTH NO DEATH' But 'EGO MIND' super imposes his own imagination & assumes some creation where actually there is 'NOTHING' & ask WHY CREATION, WHO IS CREATED, etc So In reference to that 'EGO' & TO answer to that 'EGO' v assume KARMIC SUBTANCE, So finally when v fully awakaned there is actually nothing.

In answer to the question, I wonder, does creation have a longing to know itself? I wonder if the universe is in cycle 83, if I am understanding this correctly, perhaps that initial creation is that the universe which we are also, longs to know itself, and perhaps for this it longed for the increased limitless ness that duality offers. A paradox.
paradox is time here , actually if we keep the concept of time we cann't logically answer. because next question would be what before 1st creation and why conciousness and energy didn't interact earlier , because time can go back to infinite which we cann't comprehend logically. These questions have no end if time is in picture , if you see somehow it is same with space, because it is also difficult to comprehend like where is the end of universe and if there is the end what is beyond, if there is no end as a human with our mind it doesn't make sense. How some that has begining can never end? The real paradox are space and time. Devils of creation😂

The question has no offence, you are correct. But also no purpose, No wisdom. Vipassana, Jnana, Realization, Enlightenment, Pure consciousness, Awareness - call it what you will. But it is the end of all questions. In pure being; pure experience, there are no questions. Only what is. Just this. Just that. Questions are the domain of the thinkers, the intellectuals, the mental masturbators (no offence intended by the term). As Sadhguru said; asking questions and receiving "answers" (who is *anyone* to truly answer a question?!) will cause spiritual and intellectual pride. This will take you back in your progress. The most enlightened people; they have the mind of a child! A baby even! They realize they know nothing. To stop asking questions about reality is the greatest move one can make in one's practice.

The questioner's mistake, is to assume that reality; being is "mechanistic"; a machine. That process (a) must precede process (b), so what precedes process (a)? ....the processes are imagined! Ideas of the mind. False logic. Reality and pure being does not fit this mechanistic framework that has been assumed by the questioner. To ask, "if karma causes my rebirth, how was I born, when I originally must have had no karms" is no different to asking "which can logically come first; the chicken or the egg?!". The chicken requires a preceding egg. The egg requires a preceding chicken. "How can it be?!.. It makes no sense?!". Well, there is no chicken and there is no egg. You have imagined the whole chicken and egg demarcation! You have imagined two, where there is not-two. As a Buddhist he should be familiar with 'no self' and should therefore know that rebirth does not "happen" to a permanent, substancial, ongoing person, being or soul. Rebirth of an apparantly separate living entity in fact is dependent on every other living entity in the universe! Every blade of grass must be in the right condition for a single entity to be 'born'. Reality is flow; no beginning or end, just flow. Each moment dependent on the last, backwards and forwards into eternity.

It seems to you like that because you're probably not aware of the depth of Guru- Shishya relations people had back then. Also, there's a term called 'Veeja mantra' which is not to be used for commonplace situations and to be imparted on everyone else besides the user.
