Unfortunately I have an issue with indulging in drugs. My mind tells me I love and enjoy being high on drugs! You see that's the lie drugs tell some of us. Drugs often tell me I am living life to its fullest. You see, they lie to me and I believe them.
Now I am sober and love everything about my life just as I do on drugs. People wonder how I am so happy with such a "tough" past. I don't recall things being so bad, even when I was on drugs I enjoyed my life. 🤷sounds dumb, but I certainly am a happy individual! I learned long ago to just be happy at all costs. Now I understand it's not the drugs that made me happy, it has always been myself that makes me happy.
