  • Most family court litigants must pursue their cases without counsel, and this burden is even heavier for survivors of domestic violence, many of whom do not disclose the violence to the court or court-related practitioners. The presence of domestic violence complicates the family court case, and the impact of trauma on the family and on survivors' capacity to manage and effectively pursue their cases must be understood for these litigants to have full access to the courts. This webinar will help those who work with survivors increase their capacity to assist survivors in successfully seeking relief in family court.
    1 hour of general CLE.
