  • Rly good race and comparison a lot of people have been wanting are the 2 top of the line Yamahas. We raced these 2 skis and it was so close we had to run it 2 times. With that being said each ski is different in ways and the same. The gp has its advanced on smooth water because it ways less but in the chop the FX rly thrives. Was a pretty good race so hope y’all enjoy it and be sure to check out the rest of the channel

      Slow? Lmao it's a luxury cruiser against a race ski. I'd say it held up well.

      ​@solarwarden1894As someone who owned a 2018 VXR (same hull as the GP1800R) and a 2018 FX Cruiser SVHO, the Cruiser is definitely rides better under general conditions and at low - medium speeds. But, once you get into really choppy water at high speeds, the VXR/GP1800R's much more aggressive, deeper V and generally sharper hull design cuts through rough water better at speed.
