@@Jetskiracingchannel there’s a throttle by wire system that when it’s in normal mode it gradually eases into having all power to give you a weak takeoff on a Yamaha always has full power

that has a 1.8l the 1.9 is the natty that makes 200hp. and ill let you in on a little secret those old 230's like in this video were a supercharged 1500 that made a hell of a lot more power than 230hp the new 230's is a 1630 ace that is downtuned to 230hp

@jackg350 My yamaha VXR I had I raced two seadoo 230s I beat the first one 3 runs hands down, the second one beat me by a full ski length. Seadoo has to make supercharged skis to keep up with yamahas 1.8 HO in a GP1800R ski. Reason why is the yami is way lighter and if a ski that weighs 90 pounds lighter than a seadoo 230hp will win hands down. Horsepower to weight ratio. Plus you can win the race and your yamaha still floats unlike the seadoo that tends to sink before the race is over. 🤣

@@ParrotHead1980 I don’t doubt a light vxr would beat a gtx or rxt 230. But rotax uses three bangers also rotax manages to pump 325 horsepower out of there top of the line motor so that’s kind of embarrassing that Yamaha can’t even break 300 with a 1.8l 4 banger

The rs should also go 80 unless it’s only a 300

@@alhit007 to take off the governor is 200, catch can 150$, cold air intake 250$, fizzle pipes are online I can’t remember the price and then the thru hull is on riva

Oh trust me. I’ve had 4 seadoos. 3/4 had carbon seal issues

Same guys claiming they're terrible are the ones jumping them, misaligning the drive shaft and then wondering why they sink. 76 hours on my RXTX and not an issue at all. Take care of your stuff and it will take care of you. 310 is a great offshore ski though!

@@badm0t0rf1ng3r well they are jetskis you tend to catch air when riding them fast in rough water and they are “racing” jetskis so they should be able to handle it. My seadoos I’ve had in the past I took extra good care of and still had issues

@Jetskiracingchannel right I agree but a lot of these guys abuse their skis and then are upset when they fail. I've jumped mine a few feet but you see these dudes jumping them off huge waves and wondering why they sink... I'm not saying it's every case but I've seen it a ton. I have a seadoo gtx in my family that is just shy of 30 years old and it runs like a champ because it's well taken care of. It's had 2 carbon seals that have lasted about 12 years each, that were replaced during off season lay up.

@@Jetskiracingchannel and an out of the box rxpx or rxtx is not a racing ski. Unless you're running box stock class. Kommander GP1 or a Bullett are race skis you can buy.

This will prevent the exhaust system from filling with water, which may lead to water being injected into and filling the engine. Without the engine running, there isn't any exhaust pressure to push the water out the exhaust outlet.

@@boandjill 2 strokes pinch water line 4 strokes you can do the same although never had a problem with the past 25 skis ive had including 3 hour off shore racing. Then again i dont get towed lol long as your going slower your fine we never did lol

Well on the 325 the stage 2 isn’t a thing unless you buy the riva unlocked ECU

If I am reading your statement correctly - you want the throttle to be more aggressive? I feel like I am in the same situation. I have a 325 RXT, and a 2017 300 RXP. The RXP has a Stage 2 tune from Riva - and it is aggressive as hell on the throttle and responsiveness. My stage 2 300 keeps right up with the stock 325 on race after race - and of course beats the stock because of the top end limiter being removed. I am very interested to see if Riva can make the same aggressive response on the Stage 2 325.

@@racquetballgopro8697 I miss the aggressive response in sport mode on my Riva stage 2 on my rxtx 300. I will be getting the Rive stage 2 with the aggressive response soon. Riva stage 2 is a new ECU with license top speed 86mph

@@Wetlife0069 yea and it probably rides like shit and isn’t reliable at all. It also weighs half of what the newer skis weigh. I’ve got a stock wheel GP running 90 and this RXP is only a governor removal we didn’t build it to go 90

@@Wetlife0069 my ski isn’t a drag built ski. It’s a p1 set up made to handle rough water for long periods of time on top of I daily ride it every weekend. There’s a reason guys in p1 don’t race 20 year old skis
