Loviisa is also home to the Loviisa Nuclear Power Plant, which plays a significant role in Finland's energy production and has been in operation since the 1970s.

Hey asitis, Loviisa is very beautiful and the
nice view of the marina and the boats was
great to see, the small shops, places to eat
and beautiful looking houses, a very quiet
and peaceful place to walk around here in
the neighborhood streets very beautiful

Ostin aikoinani Loviisasta kakkos asunnon jonne sitten muutimmekin Helsingistä. Loviisa on vain niin sisään lämpiävä ruotsinmielisten kaupunki, että ei siellä voinut asua. Niinpä ostin asunnon Kotkansaarelta ja laitoin Loviisan asunnon vuokralle, koska kaupaksi sitä ei saanut. Laivasillan suola-aitat ja Österstjäranin rakentaminen jäivät mukavina asioina mieleen.
