Awesome 📰, after my firstborn I went through 3 miscarriages and was told that I wasn’t going to be able to have more kids, but by the grace of God 8 years later I had another one and I was filled with overwhelming joy! All in God’s hands/timing! TFS & stay blessed always!!

I'm so glad you got some better news! I am 17 weeks now and was flagged for down syndrome in genetic testing. I was referred to a Maternal Fetal Specialst and had an anatomy scan on Monday and loved the doctor. She explained everything on the ultrasound that was concerning and it really felt like she took the time to be thorough. I hope you get a lot of reassurance during that appointment as well!

That is so great to hear!
I've been on my own roller coaster of a ride with my pregency now. Had intense pelvic/abdominal pain and lightheadedness and dizziness since December, never had any health problems before, then got pregnant in March and still dealing with all that, still haven't got an answer. Went for my anatomy scan and it showed I had a low laying placenta and got put on pelvic rest, a few weeks later that resolved itself but have been dealing now with asymmetric pregency, baby boy is small but still not on time with his growth, except for his belly, it's measuring weeks behind and for a little over a month, Dr didn't tell me why that was causing me to be high-risk. Finally 2 weeks ago they explained it, this point in pregnancy fat is suppose to be packing on and the belly is there first place the baby will "take fat away" when there's a problem. So they said it could be a problem with the placenta not giving enough nutrients, but blood flow has been good from it so they don't think that's the problem, could be a chromosome problem, or an anomic fluid infection or just be a small baby. To top it off, my grandpa fell off a ladder 2 days before learning all this and passed just a few days ago.
You aren't alone in your ride! Stay strong 💓
