    Labor and delivery nurse here 🙋🏻‍♀️. The dry skin sounds hormonal, as far as nausea we give zofran a lot. Small frequent meals instead of 3 large meals will help with nausea and heart burn. Laying on ur left side or sitting up will help with heart burn. Peppermint is a natural anti nausea as well or sniffing an alcohol pad. Even tho it’s ur peeing more make sure to continue drinking water. Staying hydrated is very important! ****even tho I am a nurse if u have concerns please seek medical attention from ur dr***** 😊😊😊

    I was one of those women when I was pregnant with my daughter that I had "morning sickness" all day and everyday my whole pregnancy. It did not matter what I ate or drank everything made me sick. It was to the point I was having significant weight loss and constantly dehydrated. In the end I was prescribed Phenergan. It was a life saver and I am thankful it is there for those that need it.

    Praying for you. Good luck with the fridge situation as well. Have you thought about buying one of those countertop ice makers? I love mine. I purchased one a while back for when we have parties or guests over, and it’s been a lifesaver since our ice maker in our freezer went out. Also purchased a mini fridge for drinks. The mini fridge is out on the patio, you could also use it in your garage for extras or a backup if yours doesn’t make it.

    Fridge/freezer issues are usually an easy fix especially when the fridge side is still working. I guess I’m just used to having my dad and SO fix everything lol. As for the dilation some women who have had previously given birth (especially vaginally) have partially dilated cervixes. I don’t know if that only applies for women who aren’t pregnant anymore or not but it might bring you a small piece of mind ❤️

    Try buying a mini fridge. The Fridgedaire (sp?) models are the quietest.
    Also, that skin reaction around your mouth: try anti-fungal cream and see if that helps. Try it at night for two to three nights. If it seems to help, you might need to continue using it for a few weeks. There is even spray that is both anti-fungal and antiseptic that you could try, just to cover all bases.

    I'm currently 28 weeks, and I also have the face "rash" thing! It's annoying and won't go away no matter how much I do my skincare routine. It has lightened a ton from where it was early pregnancy, but it's still not gone. It's mainly above my upper lip, around my smile lines, and on the sides on my nose. First time I've had this before. Also, I have a cervical polyp as well! I have been dilated to 1 cm (ish) since my first OB appointment, and it hasn't caused any further dilation as of now, so hopefully, you have the same experience with that!

    I don’t think nausea is caused by the baby not liking certain foods. I think it’s just caused by an increase in HCG levels but I could be wrong!

    • @THEMILLERS
      @THEMILLERS  Před 3 lety

      Yes nausea comes on from hcg levels rising but majority of nausea in pregnancy can easily be managed by eating small meals through out the day, avoiding heavy greasy foods and eating a bland diet. I’m at the point where my nausea is just not nausea and is always accompanied by throwing up no matter what I eat/don’t eat.

    Can the rash/dryness around your mouth be due to wearing the mask when you get out of the house? Or is it not mandatory to wear a mask when you go places in the USA? 🙈 I’m not sure, but it might be that, accentuated by the pregnancy hormones of course. 😘

    Just ask for a sickness tablet! I had it with 2 does no harm to the baby the doctor will give u some just take when ur really bad ! We all like a healthy body but does not harm if ur having very bad time take a sickness tab!no cream stops stretch marks it’s all to do with ur skin! Ppl don’t get any , some get one. Some gets loads. It’s all about skin no cream can stop them God be amazing if u had a cream out there for that ! Not just pregnant women would use it to stop stretch marks! Anyway ur young and u wnt hve worry and all will work out and pray for u xx

    I might have missed it but how dilated are you? I have heard (on my 4th pregnancy) that some woman never fully close up to a 0 after having their first birth. 🤷🏻‍♀️ definitely not saying this is you because you have been diagnosed with something that is causing it but I think more women deal with this than even they know.
